John Swarbrick
He's been performing pretty well I don't really want to let him go though I think i'll keep him. I do need to buy another winger so selling him is generally out of the question at the moment. Any wingers you can recommend?
dexta200
how much money are we talking here? Marquinhos, Alexis Sanchez, Lionel Messi, Bosko Jankovic, Luka Modric, Sebastian Giovinco all awesome wingers.
georgemaung
Sh*t. Madrid offered 22.5 millions and a 15% profit from next sale for Nani. I don't really want to sell but this is a good offer. Probably could get more though, and I don't want to see him leave. mate, I got 32mil from Real Madrid, & his average rate is 6.9 (below Srna & Ronaldo in terms of wingers' ratings). So, you should ask for more.
georgemaung
Just to add on that since we have Giggs/Rooney for AML, Rooney/Ronaldo for AMR, you shall get Srna as he can play for DR/MR. He is a FK specialist & his workrate & crossings are both superb. Price: 11M cash + 5M over 24 months Average rating: 7.44 (Went on to win world's player award) Goals/Assists: 10/15 out 30 outings With extra cash that you have, you still can get Giovinco. Evon
There are gazillions of great wingers. I'm spoilt for choice. But the very best to buy at the start are definitely Di Maria, Young, Fernandez, Srna etc. etc. But Nani is bloody brilliant. I wouldn't sell him. He was my best player pre-season and Ronaldo wouldn't be in the team if he didn't get injured for 3 months one game in...

Campbells
That was a bit stupid if you ask me... Im in my second season and was expecting to only have nani as a rotation/backup this season. But he has been awesome. Playing him at AML with Ronaldo at AMR and switching them about. Ronaldo has also been good, got 20 goals nearly already. Been offered £69million but rejected. I dont need the money and i would much rather keep him.

Evon
I've got millions of strikers. Currently I have Berbatov, Rooney, Tevez, Balotelli, Cardozo, Aquino, Saivet, Welbeck and Campbell. Balotelli and Cardozo are on loan but I may buy Balotelli. Aquino may be used on the wing as will Balotelli. Even though I've already got Nani, Ronaldo, Di Maria and Giggs. So who to sell? I want to sell at least 2 but Campbell, Saivet and Welbeck are untouchable. They're the future. And should I buy Balotelli as well?
crazy gra
Balotelli's a better winger I think, although could do a job upfront. He's just started complaining that I've not given him enough games. Playing him in both WCC games, but after that there's not a lot of games I can play him in now that the CL group stages are over and I'm out of the LC. soli
Evon Current: Berbatov, Rooney, Tevez, Balotelli Future: Balotelli, Saivet, Welbeck and Campbell Play Aquino instead of Giggs as he must be getting on. No need to buy Cardozo.
djt2010
I'm in my second season now and doing pants. Only 4 games in but started just as I played all season in my first. Berba is pants and now his value has slumped to £10m do I sell for that amount?? I have lots of good player but don't really know which work best, I don't like the Rafa style rotation, I like to have a main 11 and switch the odd player game to game but at the moment it is difficult to see which players should defo be in the first 11. Ronaldo is great but doesn't score many (noone does though) and Rio / Vidic / Evra are fantastic but that's the only certs. Rooney scores loads of goals in a few games and then doesn't for 8 or so. This wouldn't be a problem as he brings so much more but nobody else is getting any when he isn't.
crazy gra
Ronaldo hasn't got that many for me either, but he probably gets forward less in my tactics than in most others. Rooney has scored 4 goals in his last four for me (albeit 2 goals in the CWC semi final) since he ended his goal drought and I might put him back in the starting XI instead of Berbatov. Neither of them convince me with their consistency, although Berbatov is still settling in and I'll give Rooney another chance now he's scoring again, although I might sell them if I can get stupid money for them and be able to bring in someone like Ibrahimovic or Torres/Villa to replace them. Rio is now one of my top scorers after scoring two corner headers in the CWC semi final!
manu legend
Rooney and Berba are doing well for me now. Rooney has 13 and Berbatov has 10 goals atm. Haven't been able to play the last few days but I'm in Dec just before the CWC where I will be giving fringe players a chance. Still missing Tevez though who is still injured. May have to sign a ST in Jan.

fmFutbolManager
Agh, after too much time working, travelling and what not I finally managed to finish my first season!! Transfers in: Mamadou Sakho £9m Klaas-Jan Huntelaar £16.75m Luis Suarez £8.5m Jose Baxter £11m Miguel Veloso £16.75m Transfers Out: Richard Eckersley Loan James Chester Loan Carlos Tevez £34.5m Fabio Loan Manucho £9m Owen Hargreaves £20m Sam Hewson Loan Rogerigo Possebon Loan Season Summary: Not a bad first season, after a slow start, mainly due to the changes in personnel I got things on track playing a 4-1-2-2-1 formation, attacking mainly, depending on the opponents. Veloso has been an excellent anchor man for me, blocking off the potent threats of the opposition. I have struggled with injuries throughout the season, a lot of my star players being out for a number of months. Started the season with a win against Portsmouth in the Charity Shield. After a 0-0 draw we managed to Salvidge the win on penalties. This followed by a 3-0 victory against Zenit in the European Super Cup. The league was going along okay, hovering around 6th place for much of the first half of the season. Finished runners up in group B of the Champions’ League group stages 3 points behind Juventus. But managed to qualify none the less. Disappointingly knocked out of the League Cup semi final 3-0 on aggregate to Man Citeh, but before this won the World Club Championships following a 2-0 victory over Saitama United. Lost in the FA Cup 5th round to Liverpool 2-1 which was disappointing, Babel grabbing a last minute goal. Finished the season 3rd in the League, 1 point behind Chelsea and a further 10 behind eventual winners Arsenal. The season ended on a high though, following victories against Schalke (5-3), Liverpool (4-2) and Barcelona 4-3) in the knockout stages of the Champions League I managed a 2-1 victory against Inter Milan in the final. End of the season now and have just agreed a deal to sign Adriano from Inter Milan for £5m Looking forward to the start of the new season. manu legend
manu legend are you in your 1st season? Yes I am. Berbatov starting off slowly but because of my lack of other options, I stuck with him and he is playing better atm.
djt2010
I probably didn't give him enough action in my first season and I now have let him slip down the pecking order. Just played him for a change and he scored though so might start him again next game. Anybody any suggestions for an assistant manager? I don't think Mike Phelan is the man for the job. Evon
Their performances just made up my mind for me. Bye-bye Tevez. I can't fit him into my team and even Aquino is outperforming him. Played against Fulham, won 3-0 and Aquino scored twice and Balotelli scored once. Tevez played in the same game and was absolutely useless. He's getting sold as long as I get £30m+. Rooney scored two bloody screamers the game before. He's just started to come good. That'll leave me with Berba, Rooney, Campbell and Aquino/Balotelli. Easy. Balotelli will be bought and Giggs phased out. Then I won't need anymore wingers.
djt2010
People may slate me for this but if anybody is in their first season and is still looking for a replacement for VDS, I would recommend Shay Given. I personally didn't purchase him but he has performed fantastically and let's be honest he is one of the Prems best keepers irl.

crazy gra
I've got Evra at leftback, Evans is just backup untill Fabio comes back from tottenham with loads of first team experience.Vidic, Carrick, Hargreaves and Evra are all 29 and comming to the end of their careers, Brown is 30 and Ferdinand is 31. In two years im going to be short of numbers. And Berbatov is 29 now, nearly 30, so he wont last long. Oh and Ronaldo's injured for the first 4 months of the season. Fabio isn't much of a left back, though. At least Rafael can defend quite well, but I would waste time trying to train Fabio in defence. If Evra gets crocked, then you'll have to play someone like Evans, Brown, Fabio or Veloso at left back, so might as well get another.Don't listen to ML, you don't need a right back Rafael and Brown will be fine there, but look at getting Ramos when Brown gets old. Also all those players around 30 years old will last another 4 or 5 at the top, especially Carrick, Hargreaves and Berbatov who don't need great physical stats. manu legend
what's the update data thing? where do you get it? Read this: Right, like I promised, I've had a tinker with the Brazilian trio and I've got my 'workings' here for anyone who wants to use them. I have to re-affirm that there was a reason I didn't overhaul their stats earlier in the summer and we've discussed exactly why to death, and I'll also say there's no guarantee these will be exactly replicated in future updates as a) I've not exactly had time to really thoroughly go over things as much as I'd like, and b) there's plenty of time for my mind to change on various things.Rafael Finishing 7 -> 10 Long Shots 7 -> 8 Marking 7 -> 9 Passing 12 -> 13 Penalties 2 -> 8 Tackling 10 -> 12 Technique 13 -> 14 Aggression 12 -> 14 Bravery 12 -> 14 Composure 10 -> 13 Concentration 10 -> 11 Positioning 6 -> 8 Work Rate 13 -> 15 Injury Proneness 0 -> 3 Jumping 9 -> 11 Stamina 8 -> 10 Strength 9 -> 10 Left Foot 10 -> 12 CA 110 -> 125 PA -8 -> -9 Current Rep -> 120 Add dives into tackles PPM Fabio First Touch 12 -> 14 Heading 9 -> 13 Long Shots 10 -> 13 Marking 6 -> 8 Tackling 6 -> 9 Composure 10 -> 11 Positioning 6 -> 7 Work Rate 10 -> 14 Acceleration 14 -> 17 Balance 7 -> 11 Jumping 9 -> 12 Pace 15 -> 17 Left Foot 11 -> 13 CA 89 -> 115 CR -> 105 Rodrigo Corners 4 -> 12 Finishing 10 -> 12 Free Kicks 3 -> 10 Long Shots 11 -> 14 Marking 8 -> 10 Penalties 5 -> 11 Composure 12 -> 14 Creativity 12 -> 13 Decisions 11 -> 12 Positioning 8 -> 10 Teamwork 11 -> 13 Agility 11 -> 13 CA 101 -> 115 CR 100 -> 115 You have to update it yourself though. crazy gra
I got a kind draw in Werder Bremen \o/Anyway I've just accepted a bid of £30m for Carrick to Newcastle (). £30m was too good to refuse especially as I can get Veloso for around £10m. Bremen (2-2 away, 3-1 at home) were in my group with Fenerbache (1-0 at home, 5-4 away!) and Atletico Madrid (3-1 away, 4-0 at home). Quite a hard group I thought as none of them were crap teams, but I played a reserve team in all those matches I think.Good price for Carrick, but I wouldn't sell him even though I have Veloso too. Was great for me in the demo, but hasn't played too much in my real game. With all this talk of Rafael, I was hoping to give him some more games but now him and Fabio have gone off to the South America U-20 tournament. manu legend
Yeah I decided not to sell Carrick in the end simply because Veloso wll cost £17m without unsettling and he will require time to blend in while Carrick has been solid. crazy gra
Should have got Veloso at the start then. Hold on, were you doing no transfers in the first window? Even so, £17m is still a great price for him and then he'll be settled for next season. I manage to fit Hargreaves, Carrick and Veloso into my midfield with them all playing enough games, although Veloso and Carrick sometimes play in the MCa role.
