Magic Sponge and Dodgy Lasagne

This is my first experience playing FMT. I just wondered if there’s a way to remove seeing these options? Every time one of my players gets an injury I’m given the option to purchase a magic sponge. Also, if I’m not mistaken, the dodgy lasagne occasionally appears should I wish to sabotage the opposition?

It might just be me but it annoys me every time it pops up. It feels like I’m being encouraged to cheat and it’s a cartoonish gimmick that I’ve never come across in previous Football Manager editions.
