[FM18] What do you call genetically modified corn? I suppose it's still corn-ish.

We're through to face Chorley who are currently bottom of League Two in the FA Cup Second Round and in the league it was another high scoring game against AFC Wimbledon which of course we lost and then lost the next three matches as well, yet we managed to bead the league leaders 3-0 away from home.

A terrible defeat to Chorley means we don't make it to the Third Round this season and we lose to Portsmouth in the Checkatrade Trophy which means going into the new year we have no cups to play in. Our form has been solid in the league but we're still only three points outside the relegation zone.

We've been taken over! :D

Do you think this will improve your financial situation and/or allow you to get facility upgrades? Or will things be staying the same?

Evans-Mammola would be a great DC prospect if he didn't have 1 Determination.

As it is, I think I'd rather play Ginnelly at DC.

And, the more I look at Ginnelly, the more I reckon he's got a DC in him. Just needs to work on Positioning.

Finally they've got a complete set, shamefully...

I don't like AFC Wimbledon, they always score so many against us. :(

I'm really glad we've finally produced a couple of defenders!!

Well established in League One... if you stay up this season. :D

I expect it'll be the same response for the next few seasons.

It could go down to the wire! Would be harsh to end up in the bottom 4 now!

It would be very harsh! Will update in a bit. :)

2055/56 Pre-Season

I tried to raise some funds with some big home friendlies and was very surprised to hold Celtic, Rangers and Southampton to a draw and to beat both Hearts & RB Leipzig!

It raised a lot of money.

Finances are still shocking though.

We're still in 12th but the league isn't getting any easier since we're still only six points ahead of Carlisle down in 21st and also only five points behind Forest Green Rovers up in 5th as we now pass the half way point of the season. We're through to the FA Cup Third Round where we'll be away to Stoke City after a classic away to FC Halifax Town!

We're now looking pretty safe in the league! We're through to the Checkatrade Trophy Semi Final against Southend United and we're at home to Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup Fourth Round, the winner is away to Derby County who are bottom of the Premier League.

Great season so far, and a chance of a playoff spot still alive too. Phenomenal work with such a small side. :)

Thanks all! It's great to finally have a good season, anything above 13th will be great though!
