[FM18] Paris-Saint-Germain - Reach for the sky

This is my first topic on this forum as I have started a game with the French club ... The goal is not to spend money in a senseless way but to build a structure on the pitch but also outside the four lines of a football field. That is why I have spent quite some time on the creation of a technical staff ( for all teams : main squad / B team and the youth team ) of the highest possible level ... The results are important but what I especially want to see in the first season is the progress that the whole club is making ... Below you will see the current status of my technical teams ( September of the second season ) ...

What are my main goals for the project I have in mind with Paris-Saint-Germain:

• Invest heavily in the youth football and develop several young French talents that will grow into important players of the first team
• Spend big money on precise and accurate transfers ( don't spend money stupidly because it is a nice to have ... use the principle of need to have )
• Continuously invest in the technical staffs so that the quality of the club off the pitch increases also

 

By doing this ( and knowing that we can spend money when needed ) I think we can go against the current trend ( in time, not as of right now ) of the French club where they spend loads of money on players that will never make it to become huge stars ... I prefer to lose out on a title, but to have that one talent I really wanted in the group ... For me there are now fixed names in the team and everybody can lose their spot ( even Neymar Junior isn't sure of his spot if he doesn't perform ) 

 

Goals defined for this save with Paris-Saint-Germain :

• Guarantee the return of eternal hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic - ( Achieved during the summer of 2018 - Ready to play in the second season )
• Transfer policy aimed for French players ( at least 60% of incoming players should have French nationality ) - ( Currently at 50% in September 2018 - Aim to achieve it by the end of the second season )
• Win the UEFA Youth League with the Under19s team two years in a row - ( Runners up in the first season - Final lost against the Under19 of SL Benfica )
• Win the UEFA Champions League three years in a row to speak of domination of European football - ( Runners up in the first season - Final lost against Real Madrid )
• Decrease the wages with 15% until the end of the third season in the save ( season 2019-2020 ) - ( Current prediction is to reach a reduction of 16% by the end of season 2019-2020 )
• Team composition by the end of season 2019-2020 to be at least 65% French players in the main squad - ( Currently twelve out of twenty-six players are French players - 46% )
