Ask player if he want's to leave when receiving bids

I have now found myself in the position of receiving a good bid for my vice-captain. It's from a bigger club, and I'm now in the akward position of not knowing whether to accept or reject the bid. If I accept, he will be happy and the rest of the squad will question my decision to let a "leader" leave. If I reject the offer, the player will be upset which will lead to bad morale in my squad.

If I had the option to ask him whether he wanted me to accept the offer or not, I would know what to do. Then hopefully the rest of the squad would also understand the decision. 

 

(I mean beyond the message from the agent that says the player want's to negotiate with the bidding club)
