Benjoe
@Deisler26 Gah! What a pity with the player roles. I wish you could somehow make a wish to your HoYD that you'd prefer it if they focused on nurturing some talented players with specific types/roles. Like if you were playing a club with very possesion oriented play with high pressure, having intakes with players with a generally higher amount in attributes needed for such but lacking in other areas would be interesting as giving your club a distinguishable and useful blueprint would be easier and more effective. ManUtd1
August 28, 2023 Oostende GU8 'C' v. Zulte Waregem GU8 'D'; DeKustKup 2023, Semifinal, Post-Match The Snow Kittens' post-match huddle is a setting cauldron of rage. ...And crying children. Maybe I've taken things too far. But these girls need to learn from their mistakes. The first mistake was letting them name the team. Snow Kittens? Who in their right mind would even...? Even seven year olds should know better. I lay into our captain, Juliet, for eating too many cakes before the game. She cries, claiming she didn't. But she's a dirty f***in liar. I tell her so, to her face. Liars don't get to be captain, sweetheart. Matilda, our quote-unquote "goalkeeper." Spent more time chasing butterflies than the ball. Useless c***. Her dad didn't like it when I called her that, but what does he know?! He's just a stupid haircut in a tracksuit. Thinks he knows tactics. Idiot doesn't even want to invert the 5. I give a sarcastic slow clap for Bethany, the only girl who tried. At least she did something on the field, even if it was scoring an owl goal and crying like a little baby, right in the middle of our 18. I had no choice but to bench her and play with 6 against the opposition's 7. I'm surrounded by idiots. Timothee, my boss, isn't pleased. "It's quite simple," I say. "By the strategic point of view we didn't lose, from the tactics point of view we didn't lose." "What was the result, eh?" I ask him. Timothee points out that we lost 17-1. "But also, I mean... Three corners in the second half. I've won more corners than any other manager at this club, than all of them together, all summer." Timothee isn't impressed. 'Respect," I say, without elaboration. While meeting his eye, unblinking. "Respect," I repeat, picking up the tactics board and striking it with my well-worn, special edition copy of Telleus' Tactical Teachings in staccato fashion, punctuating my words as I head to the parking lot. "Respect." Timothee calls out, trying to get my attention. Trying to re-engage in our conversation. I just stare at him from behind the wheel of my cherry red, 2014 Kia Soul. "Respect." Deisler26
FC Sochaux-Montbeliard 2030/31 Season Review With this season, came our first time back in the UEFA Europa League since 2007. And, despite a group including Bayer 04 Leverkusen, A.S Galatasary & Levski Sofia, we qualifed in second place. A.S Roma were to be our opponents and we came unglued in extra time in the second leg, conceding 6 goals in that time to lose 8-12 on aggregate. We also saw our customary exit at the Quarter-Finals of the Coupe de la Ligue, again losing to Paris Saint-Germain. The Coupe de France was a different kettle of fish this season. We knocked out A.S Monaco FC in the Quarter Final, Olympique Lyonnais in the Semi Final, only to be knocked out by our usual nemesis in the Final, losing 1-4 to Paris Saint-Germain. However, going deep in these competitions meant that we finished 5th overall in Ligue 1, qualifying for the UEFA Europa League again. After he graduated, he managed, somehow to convince the (probably senile) chairman of Bayonne to give him a crack of the whip... With a strong distaste for the modern transfer market, beyond the inherited squad, he'll be exclusively using players who come through the youth ranks. He was a regen from this thread, for what it's worth... This is the tactic I'm looking at for now, though it could be completely different as we go on... These are the best player and brightest prospect... We're back and going to take one more crack at this, from the start again. Add players to playable teams clicked to fill out the squad. Same lad is best player, but seems a bit differently balanced attribute wise. This guy's the best prospect, he can cross, I guess. Brilliant name, mind. Fer Fuchs Ake
Chauve's Travel Log Location: Southampton That's right, Chauve is still on holidays! I don't why I'm referring to myself in third person but here Chauve am. I mean... ****. Anyway, I'm manager of Aubagne now and they're currently Aubankrupt. I haven't even bothered going back to France since getting the job. Just called the assman, told him what I wanted and let fly. It's going well so far too. I'm keeping my phone on. I won't make that mistake again. Had an interesting time in a pub earlier, when I was getting mullered. As is customary when I come to a new city. I got talking to a guy who loved my stories of the famous Academie Des Frauds. He's a big fan of Hakan apparently. I don't know why, he's only been at Malmö a season or two. Michael I think his name was. I think he's a manager too, I wasn't really listening. Just playing him for free beer. He's one of those traditional managers apparently. The type who actually attend matches. Most managers are. What dip****s. Despite what happened before, I still maintain that my way is the way to go. Holiday, holiday, holiday. That's my motto. Anyway, I've gotta go as the words are starting to dance in front of me. I've had ten too many I think. Sincrkelfy, Cgaube De Fraudkldjse

ManUtd1
September 18, 2023 With Matilda's dad pulling her off the team due to alleged "incessant" "verbal" "emotional" "abuse," our options in goal have been slim. The arrival of Drake after his release on parole (having skipped town after adopting a false name) was just the ray of sunshine I needed. The inspiration to move forward. To be optimistic about our prospects for the future. Drake's special skills will prove invaluable, especially since my current identity is shaky at best. Less than 72 hours after his arrival, we're already beginning to plot. But I need to know if he's still a man who knows how to get things. The response is music to my ears. "For you Jean, anything." "Ix-nay on the on-Jay," I remind him. For the 20th time. He's a bit thick, Drake...and it isn't just his insistence that pho is "stew." No, no...I won't get started. I won't get angry with the only friend I truly have. The only one who knows my real name and inadvertently sordid past. "Remember, it's Claude-Jean Damme-Vanne, now. CJ, for short." Drake nods. Again. I'm sure I'll have to remind him. But the reality is that Claude-Jean must disappear. His purpose has been fulfilled. And the right opportunity has presented itself, as I applied for and won an interview for a job with a major Danish side. The big time. Well, their U16 side...but it's a big step forward. The problem being, I've done it under utterly false pretenses, as I cannot claim my own name and credentials. And CJ's resume won't impress anyone. I try to explain again. Using small words, various hand gestures and a bit of mime. Finally, Drake seems to understand. "Just tell me what you need," Drake says. "I'm your man. We're like two mice in a maze, just need to find the cheese, yeah?" Not knowing what to make of his analogy, I ignore it and cut right to the point. "How good are you at forging Hungarian passports, Drake?" "Me? Not so good. But I know a guy who knows a guy. Although I think the guy-behind-the-guy might be a bit...ehh...if you know what I mean." "I most certainly...I don't even... Just... Just get it done. Those blokes at Brondby aren't going to accept anything less than a passport and legit coaching badges from the Hungarian FA." "But you haven't done your badges in Hungary, Jea--. I mean...ehh... CJ." Drake taps the side of his nose, winking at me. I sigh. Subtle, he is not. "That's right. CJ hasn't done them. But 'Zenon Beled' has." Drake nods enthusiastically. "Good, good. Who's this Zenon bloke, then?" I sigh. Again. 10 minutes later, and I think Drake is on board. He's happily devising the backstory for his new persona, 'Szalonna Bugyi.' I sure hope we get the job...I don't know if I can take another year in Oostende...the parents are getting impatient with my tactical experiments and simply will not accept that their dear daughters are crap at football. ManUtd1
October 6, 2023 The lead in Denmark proved to be a complete bust. The Brondby board weren't convinced, not by a long shot. But Drake thinks we just need to keep on trying. "Don't stop believing," he keeps saying. So we took the midnight train going anywhere, the smell of wine and cheap perfume washing over us. We'll roll the dice, just one more time.

smp20
Mulhouse 2017/18 Mid-Season Update We're pushing the strong B teams for top spot, it's going to be difficult to reach it though we did become the first side to beat Troyes B. A nice cup run so far, we're going to need it as we're leaking money. Pathetic crowds for a £6k a week wage bill. We've got a very clear first 11; I caved and allowed our 5'5 centre-mid in our first 11 as he's got a lot more quality than our taller options.
