BruceyNTFC
When trying to convince a player to sign we have a number of various promises we can make, however, in real life, an often trotted out line by a player when signing for a club, is that the manager "really sold the vision" of what the club is aiming for. Now, I know that can relate to aiming to win trophies or such, but when signing younger players, if one of your philosophies is to have a young team, or develop youngsters, this in truth would be a big selling point to them, and something you should be able to use in a negotiation. Same if you're trying to sign a certain player who would fit into your style of play and so on.
strateeg32
Agree but if I could add something: I want more option when signing players or lengthen the contract. For example being able to make small conversation or add certain 'informal' (not written down) promises. You can think of saying that if he signs a new contract you promise to sell him next year. And if you dont hold ur promise, you will become less credible with signing contracts with players.
