I would probably still buy Alli though, have him as a starting AMC and maybe train him to become a backup striker as well in case of an injury crisis up top (putting back in Barkley/Amico/Sigurdsson at AMC). Perhaps I should rephrase my question; Based on the players that I currently have, should I buy Embolo to upgrade my strikers or should I opt for Alli instead as an upgrade to Barkley? Training Alli to be a striker seems like an exciting idea! He definitely has the required attributes to be a good if not a great one.
