Transferring Save Data to new phone.

So, I recently bought a Google pixel XL to upgrade my Motorola Moto g. And I had football manager on that phone. I download it on my new Google pixel and the data isn't there? How do I transfer it.

(I used the same email).

Save games will remain on the your Motorola, so you will have to move them over manually via a PC or laptop

The save game folder can be found here

Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager Mobile 2018\normal\games

Connect your Motorola to your computer

Under This PC/My Computer Select your phone

Go to Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager Mobile 2018\normal\games to find the files named "fm_save1.dat, fm_save2.dat," etc.

Copy these file onto your PC

Connect your Pixel to your computer

Copy these file to Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager Mobile 2018\normal\games on your Pixel

I can't actually paste them ,  can cut or copy them but they are not pasted to the new phone files,any idea why?

You might want to check you have the correct permission to write files to your phone, when you connect your phone to your PC does a message appear on your phone asking if you want to "trust this PC"?

Try maybe using a File Manager like File Commander or ES File Exp or X-plore, Or other similar App's etc. Use a feature like (PC File Transfer), (wirelessly Send & Recieve file(s) remotely to your device or memory card using just a web browser connected to the same WiFi-Network.

Hi flap. I had this exact problem. The way round it is too use the 'Move to' thingy at the top of the screen. Move the file to downloads then from there drag it into the folders til you get to the games folder.
