Fabian Delph

on fm09 he has the potential to be a decent premier league midfielder!

In real life, "Delph ran the show as Leeds ran amok after his opening goal from 30 yards. While he signed autographs afterwards, clutching the man-of-the-match champagne he is barely old enough to drink, the Bradford-born midfielder received the ultimate accolade from Liverpool-supporting colleague Andy Robinson."

"Fabian is rangy like the young Stevie Gerrard and has a similar passing range, short and long," said Robinson. "He also snaps you in the tackle like Gerrard. He's been whacking senior pros in training and the gaffer had to say 'slow down', but it's a sign of confidence in such a young player."

Compared to Gerrard, must be good!!

I've seen him play on a number of occasions this season. Although his stats have been improved significantly since last year, he remains under rated. Over the past 6 weeks or so his performances have been excellent, illustrating just how good he could be and as evidenced by the alleged number of Premier league clubs interested in him.

but to be honest, i am quite dissapointed with the stats of a number of players in this game! That 15 year old bolton guy, not even in the game (maybe he will be in the real one)...

Scott Sinclair - Underrated

Michael Mancienne - Underrated

Jack Wilshere - OVER RATED (yes he is good, but already this good on the game! no way!!)

Rafael and Fabio from united - underrated (Rafael makes regular appearances for United now, why is he STILL so bad)

Michael Johnson - underrated..

anyone agree/disagree?

K, thanks you two.

But what position in the midfield does he play (guessing CM by what your saying), and how much would u have to pay to secure his services ;) ?

He is an AMC, left side. In the game his asking price, IRL Leeds are no longer relatively speaking financially stretched; so large fee required. How much? I'd be surprised if they accepted less than £5M as he is that good.

15 year olds are too young for the game!

It's 16 and over

Fabian Delph does look like he will turn out good, in the game and in real life.

He didn't turn up when he came to Cheltenham last Saturday though! Outplayed by Josh Payne (West Ham youth captain who we have on loan).

fair enough, but i still think it is ridiculous that he is not on the game! he is one of the brightest prospects in english football! crazy stuff....

There is no way to prove that someone is going to be great at 15. Wayne Rooney was one of a kind

im not saying there is! just sayin that he should be on the game because of his potential talent! and i think that if someone plays in a professional game at 15 will almost definitely be quality!!

They were all -9's last year except Rafael I believe. So, they weren't under rated really except for Rafael. Except from what I saw today he's nothing exceptional yet. Michael Johnson had amazing stats last year, so the scouts must've thought he was over rated. The 16 year old thing is because of child labor laws or something weird.

Jack Wilshere is probably the best youth player in England, it's not shame to be shaded by him. Last year and this year he's been easily the standout kid - how many other 16 year olds have got a run out for Arsenal? ZERO, he's rated highly for a reason.

Michael Johnson was severley overrated last season, he was basically Fabregas which is a bit of a stretch. He'll likely improve to be a great CM but he's no there yet. Remember he's only really been playing top level for a season and a bit, he'll definitely improve.

Rafael and Fabio are fairly unknown, just because they're United reserves doesnt entitle them to being -10's if that's what you're implying. As for Rafael's 'regular appearances', i hardly think playing three games is 'regular'.

ok, bad examples.... but my main concern is that Jack Wilshere is FAR FAR FAR too good on the game compared to his actual ability. and as someone has already said on this thread, its impossible to tell what someone is gonna be like at such a young age!! yes he looks good, but i mean the stats in the game are ridiculous! (Still i am gonna buy him everytime).... maybe this is because i am a chelsea fan and just bitter that our youth are always underrated! :(

This Rafael guy you speak about... First time I ever saw him was against Celtic yesterday and was easily the worst player on the pitch :p Can't judge a player by one performance, and he was probably nervous playing in CL and the Celtic staduim isn't at all a good place if you're nervous, but come on? He was absolutely shocking
