TerminalPortugal
# We take home the Angola Cup for a second year running to complete a treble so far this season.
TerminalPortugal
First leg of the CAF Confed Cup and we are in pole position as we take a 4-1 lead in the tie. The away goal late on is the only bleamish, but I have to back us to be able to shut them down.
TerminalPortugal
We win the CAF Confed Cup again! Despite a red card, we were solid and hit them on the counter attack as we put the tie to bed. A 6-1 aggregate final win.
TerminalPortugal
Players of the Season In number one spot, Amarildo has been insane this season averaging 8.5 rating this season. His 40 goals this season were a brilliant return, but his all round play have been fantastic. He got a bad spine injury towards the end of the season, which ended his season early, while we managed without him, we are different team with him, he deserves my player of the season. Filhao has been brilliant this season. His average of 8.42 any other season would have given him player of the season, but Amarildo has been too insane. Filhao scored 70 goals in 54 appearances, which is an insane return, again any other season for that alone he would be my player of the season. Mahmadou Diawara, simply keeps getting better and better and he averaged just over 8.0 this season. He scored 55 goals this season which is another fantastic return especially in view of what he did last season. Diawara is almost certainly not going to be at the club next season, his wage demands are too much for us and the Portuguese clubs are swooping although at the time of writing he has been unable to agree terms with any of them. Regardless it is a brilliant way to go out.

TerminalPortugal
Still only favoured personnel, although surely it won't be long until we are a club legend, especially after a season like that!
dllu
I don't know if it says more about your managerial skills or the level of Angolan football in general, but very impressive season!

Of that question only time will tell. I think in Angola you have pretty good teams at the top of the table, but at the bottom they seem to be pretty terrible. Would be really hard to improve one of the teams at the bottom of the table.
TerminalPortugal
Decided to renew the DoF's contract as he had done a decent enough job to continue on for another year.
TerminalPortugal
Club legend Dario retires, his seasons under my tenure he was absolutely fantastic so he lays up his feet with my best wishes.
TerminalPortugal
First acquisition of the transfer window is not the best, Carlinhos will be a back up player at best.
TerminalPortugal
Campos leaves on free to Interclube, he came in last transfer window as we a pretty shoddy signing. Not bothered.
TerminalPortugal
Valdez comes in from rivals Primeiro de Agosto. He looks half decent, not amazing, but probably has a role to play at the club.
TerminalPortugal
Nandinho departs the club. He has been a good servant and filled in a fair bit both in midfield and up front, but his advancing years and the opportunity to get a little cash for him, sees him on his way to Desportivo Huila. TerminalPortugal
Four of our guys make the CAF Best XI
TerminalPortugal
Both our stikers Filhao and Amarildo make it in the Striker category ahead of Aubameyang! That's quite some achievement. Filhao takes the award with his 70 goals in a calender year.
TerminalPortugal
Zinedine Catraio comes in from Interclube, he is young and already pretty good but he has a lot of potential too, he looks like a good smart buy from the DoF.
TerminalPortugal
New two year deal for Severino.
TerminalPortugal
Another centre back into the club, Vado comes in from Petro Atletico, he is pretty solid, think he will get good game time in the team.
TerminalPortugal
Pretty excited about this signing. Jorge Brandao is 17 years old and already looks like he could challenge for a starting spot. We will see in the coming season whether he can break into what is a very potent strikeforce as it is. Diawara being released probably gives him a better chance.
TerminalPortugal
Another solid signing in Miguel Itoua. In other news we have appeared to have been able to get Diawara to extend his stay at the club for another year.
TerminalPortugal
Another solid striker comes in Olivier Madola from Kabuscorp. Started to think we probably don't need any more strikers now. Its up to the DoF, but he seems very concerned with that position despite goals not being hard to come by over the past few seasons.
TerminalPortugal
The DoF brings in another defensive option in Herve Mubengayi. Again he quality to get some games here, so again can't really fault the transfer.
TerminalPortugal
Odds are out for the new season and we are the new favourites for the league title. Surprisingly Primeiro de Agosto have have dropped to third favourites which is a little surprising.
TerminalPortugal
Pre Season 2019 The pre-season friendlies have gone like they always seem to go with all convincing wins and 35 goals scored without reply.
TerminalPortugal
A good acquisition in Job Makevela from Primeiro de Maio, but he will be a backup. Our current keeper Barbeitos is the Angola number one and will be keeper the job between the sticks. Always good to have decent cover in such a key position though. TerminalPortugal
Well that was quite a result in the Angolan Super Cup, this ain't looking good for anyone looking to knock us off our perch as we destroyed Petro Atletico who must hate us considering the amount of trophies we stole from them last season.
TerminalPortugal
The Angolan Super Cup marked the above statistic. We are absolutely terrifying at the moment!
TerminalPortugal
A decent player, but getting to the point where we have too many options now, and he is no better than what we have already. A slightly disappointing signing.
TerminalPortugal
We meet Mamelodi Sundowns for the second year in a row in the CAF Super Cup, however the result is exactly the same as we win 4-0 to retain the trophy.
TerminalPortugal
February 2019 Feb was straightforward for us, winning has become such a habit at this stage that I am not surprised by much any more. We destroyed Maldives Pamplemousses 18-1 on aggregate in Champions League Prelims, and won according them media our most difficult game of the season pretty easily with a weakened team. The other games in the month we already covered. Great start as expected.
TerminalPortugal
March 2019 March was an interesting month, everything going to plan. The Champions League gave us our greatest test as we lost to Ivorian outfit ASEC as they beat us in the Ivory Coast by 2-0, however we overturned the loss in the first game by storming back 5-1. I was a little worried that our Champions League experience was about to end early but very happy that we came back. We are in 3rd in the league but that is owing to games in hand. Kabuscorp do appear to be the likely challengers her, with their record perfect apart from losing to us.
TerminalPortugal
Our Champions League group pits us against Sundowns whom have won the last 3 editions of the competition, however we have beat them pretty easily in CAF Super Cup games so I am a little less worried having played them. SuperSport are also South African opposition so I have no reason to believe they are any better than Sundowns. Etoile have beaten us before and actually whom I am most concerned about in the group based on past meetings.
TerminalPortugal
April 2019 All league games this month, and we continued with our perfect record so far. A tough game against Primeiro de Agosto was probably the most difficult task but we came through despite being pretty leaky on the day. We move to the top of the league and have a game in hand on Petro Atletico and Kabuscorp. Primeiro de Agosto are completely out of the running this season, looks like the media were right about their chances this season.
TerminalPortugal
More crazy stats for us. We haven't lost in almost two seasons of football now in the league.
TerminalPortugal
Quite a few players called up to the African Cup of Nations. 7 of them called up to the Angola National side.
TerminalPortugal
It's not just the strike force that are setting records, the defense ain't doing too bad either.
TerminalPortugal
May 2019 We continue out great form and managed to start well in the Champions League group picking up two wins out of two. We are top of the league and 8 points clear. We are still perfect this season. 18 games, 18 wins.
TerminalPortugal
Looks like things have got bad enough at Primeiro de Agosto that the manager has got the boot.
TerminalPortugal
The transfer window is back open and the DoF has decided to bring in Roque Macaba from rivals Petro Atletico. He looks like a decent signing and definitely will get a bit of game time, but will probably spend quite a bit of time on the bench I reckon.
TerminalPortugal
The youngster Jorge Brandao has done well enough to finally make the Angola national side and get his first cap! We appear to be bringing through enough youth players to really refresh the Angolan national team at the moment.
TerminalPortugal
Zidane Catraio has gone out on loan to Primeiro de Agosto as he wasn't getting much game time for us. I think it shows the amazing way in which the dynamic in Angola has changed and we have become the most dominant force in the country. They loan in our bench players.
TerminalPortugal
Finally after much pleading the board have agreed to fund my Continental C License. They are pretty stubborn at times about funding this stuff.
TerminalPortugal
Pedro Bangui comes in. Not an area we are weak, probably a bit of a waste but he comes in on a free so can't really complain too much.
TerminalPortugal
Lopez comes in, and pretty happy with this, we are not weak anywhere on the pitch but right wingback is a specialist position and he certainly adds depth to the team.
TerminalPortugal
June/July 2019 100% record, what more can I say. We managed to make the Champions League be little more than child's play in the end. We are 11 points ahead and still have a 100% record. We are now very close to completing the most amazing season, 9 more wins and we will have completed an amazing feat.

TerminalPortugal
August/September 2019 Well perfection has been ruined by Primeiro de Agosto, despite them not performing too great in the league this season they still get a minor moral victory over us. We got through Cape Town City of South Africa in straightforward fashion in Champions League Quarter Final. We are 7 points clear with a game in hand over Kabuscorp. Title should be a formality, however we have now lost the opportunity to go 30-0-0.
