Help Recreating Javi Gracia's 4-4-2/4-2-2-2

So, after watching Watford yesterday I have become inspired to try and recreate Javi Gracia's 4-2-2-2. I don't consider myself any good at recreating real life tactics, so if anyone has noticed anything particular about the way Watford have been playing this season your input is much appreciated.

Will Hughes is instructed to sit narrower and cut inside. Deeney instructed to move into channels. 

I'm kinda stuck on TIs, but that's likely because I'm a bit of a minimalist and tend not to use more than 3 or 4 anyway. Not really sure what kind of mentality or team shape to go with either.
