FM-Lee
Hello, Does anyone have any experience of how FM runs on the Surface Book 2 in tablet mode? As I’m considering it as an upgrade to my SP3 Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Guest
Miles has said that he plays on a Surface Book 2 so i imagine FM plays & looks fine on it.
FM-Lee
Thanks for your reply...do you know if that’s in 3D mode? As 3D worked fine on the Surface Pro 3 until FM18 where it wasn’t good enough to use, hence why I’m looking to upgrade.
Hovis Dexter
Maybe you should contact Miles directly or more sensibly ask here
Guest
The two options have a GTX1050 or 1060 I stalled so 3D will be able to run at max settings.

Only thing that worries me is that the GPU is in the keyboard, and I’d be playing in tablet mode, not sure if that changes anything regarding FM? Guest
The tablet with the revert to using the integrated Intel graphics processor which should be could enough for a mix of low & medium settings.
FM-Lee
I’m happy to get rid of the kit details and maybe even thr crowd, as long as it’s decent graphics with no lag or judder like I had on FM 15/16/17 on my Surface Pro 3...so it looks like the Surface Book 2 could be the one! Thinking of buying the same laptop. Did you end up buying it? Can you share your experience?
Angel Georgiev
I'm with Surface Pro 5, and my graphs are on medium, and the performance is good. So your Surface Book 2 should be better performer. Unfortunately the touch screen is useless as the FM (not touch version) is not developed for these screens. Even the pc version of FMT is far from touch-screen-friendly strange enough
