During match, have players chase ball if it seems possible that they might retrieve it before crossing the line.

A lot of the times in FM you see the ball slowly moving towards the lines with players just waiting, instead of chasing the ball when it seems possible to retrieve it, even if they might end up not arriving in time, like you usually see in real life matches. They should also chase it to at least avoid a corner kick against them, by at least correcting the ball's trajectory to the touchline instead.

Also, in FM, this also happens even when the play is far away from the lines; a player (not offside, at all) just won't chase a ball and let an opponent (even if within his range of view) get to it instead, when the first one could've definitely reached it first.

I also see a lot of the times the ball hit the woodwork and bounce back in to the goal box and none of the attackers who are actually near going for a new shot. :/

Maybe also a player that chases so fast he runs over the line/tackles through the throw in boundary, and can potentially crash into the advertising board if running with too much force.
