DavidBeckham
Remember our number one keeper who was poached by Barcelona on transfer deadline day? DavidBeckham
Season Review 2030/2031 - Middlesbrough F.C. League We managed to stay 3rd despite losing our very good goalkeeper on transfer deadline day last summer. We are all starting to feel like we've peaked and the squad needs upgrades in a number of positions if we want to mount a proper title challenge. Scholesy rejected an offer to manage Real Madrid recently and you can be sure that he will keep fighting Carabao Cup Scholesy is using this competition to hand valuable game time to new signings and youngsters. Unfortunately, they didn't do quite well this time round as we lost on penalties in the 3rd round against Bournemouth. FA Cup The lads did well to beat sides we were expected to beat in the opening three rounds but Liverpool was a tough nut to crack at Anfield as we suffered a 1-2 defeat in the quarter-finals. UEFA Champions League Having reached the semi-finals last campaign, the boys did amazing to go a step further to reach the final at Wembley Stadium. Bayern Munich were our opponents and they looked quite good from our scouting reports. They had better quality in every position and we had to be at our absolute best to compete. Unfortunately, our first-choice midfield anchor got injured on the eve of the final and we had to move Captain America back from his Box To Box Midfielder role. Our bad luck continued when our most advanced central midfielder got sent off harshly in the final. How is this a sending off?! We managed to hang on to a 1-1 draw until the 84th minute when Bayern took the lead from a corner. It was an own goal We went on the attack in search of the equalizer and conceded two late injury-time goals. I really hate this game at times.. Top 11 Champions League finalists \o/ Top 3 Players The Mexican certainly came of age this season, scoring 12 goals and creating a further 6 for his team-mates in a very productive campaign. However, he will be remembered for being the unluckiest player in Champions League history after he got sent off harshly for a brilliant tackle Jordi had been terrific at left-back for us this season and he managed to win most of his duels against the oppositions' right-wingers. He even found time to score 3 and create 4 at the attacking end of the pitch. Fantastic all-rounded performances throughout the campaign \o/ This is likely to be our captain's last season making significant number of appearances for the club. Despite being 33, he marshaled our defense superbly in the Champions League quarter- and semi-finals. No matter how his team-mates outperformed him this campaign, he is undoubtedly Scholesy's player of the season :**)

DavidBeckham
Summer Transfers 2031/2032 This window certainly wasn't as dramatic as last summer's as we signed only 3 players on permanent deals to replace the outgoing ones. The summer was completed with a couple of loan signings from PSG to bolster the squad further. Key Signings Gaston Martin We needed an upgrade in our goalkeeping department after the painful loss of Michel last summer. Gaston was the best we could find on the market but he is still a level below the traitor. Xhemali Ajazi We have been tracking Xhemali for a few years and when he finally became available this summer, Scholesy snapped him up immediately. The German has incredible physicality and displays 100% concentration whenever he's on the field. He will add more bite to our midfield in the upcoming campaign. Andi Tairi We went shopping for another German and Andi was brought in for 21.5 million pounds to replace club legend Dael Fry (he's still at the club!). The promising center-back spent the last two seasons on loan at the Riverside Stadium and we managed to insert an optional transfer fee in the latest loan deal. It was easy to take up the option to sign him permanently as there wasn't a better option on the market. He has big shoes to fill though! DavidBeckham
January Transfers I think we found the next Wayne Rooney! Jeet has incredible physicality for someone who's still 18 and he isn't too bad technically and mentally as well. With Pellegri turning 31 soon, we needed someone who can potentially replace the Italian in the lone striking role and Scholesy is very optimistic that the new signing can be the man. Grant was an emergency signing as two of our center-backs were eyed by PSG and Man United on transfer deadline day. We couldn't risk losing them with no replacements signed and the Englishman was brought in for 4 million pounds. Scholesy managed to keep both of our center-backs and Grant will most likely be moved on in the summer as a moneyball signing.

DavidBeckham
Season Review 2031/2032 - Middlesbrough F.C. League Campione, campione olé olé olé! Unbelievable achievement by the boys despite us being tipped by media to finish only 7th and our wage budget is also way behind the top 6's. The happiest moment of the season has to be watching Dael Fry lift the Premier League trophy at the Riverside Stadium. The lad is turning 35 and he has been at the club all his career. What a moment :**) Carabao Cup Our second choice lineup did well to reach the quarter-finals but was unlucky to lose on penalties against the Gunners after a close 90 minutes. FA Cup Scholesy lifts his first ever FA Cup with Middlesbrough! We overcame the likes of Liverpool and Spurs in an excellent cup run and ended the campaign capably with a 2-0 victory at Wembley against a decent Everton side. Having lost both the Europa League and Champions League finals in recent years, we are extremely relieved that we finally won one UEFA Champions League We managed to reach the semi-finals in every of our last three Champions League campaigns but PSG are just too strong (or rich).. ..just look at the wages and transfer values Top 11 The double-winning champions \o/ Top 3 Players Alex replaced Captain America in the Box To Box Midfielder role competently and even though he is not as capable defensively, the Spaniard has contributed significantly at the attacking end. He bagged 10 goals and 6 assists in his first full season with regular football and it's a pity that he's already 30 Jordi is one of the few players we have who can genuinely get into the top European sides. He has had another solid campaign for us at left-back, bagging an impressive 10 assists and getting the better of 237640134 right wingers. Scholesy is praying that the Spaniard does not catch the attention of the top teams this summer Matthias has been such a quality addition for us down our right flank and the Belgian ended our league-winning campaign with 15 goals and 8 assists, inevitably bagging our Fans' Player of the Season award. He has been our most consistent player in a very successful season and is by far Scholesy's player of the season

DavidBeckham
Summer Transfers 2032/2033 We are going all out this summer! Scholesy is spending money he wouldn't have spent if we still have 5 more years to go. We are into our last one-two campaigns and we are doing all we can on the market to go for that elusive Champions League trophy. Key Signings Adam Piosek Adam has been on our watch list for so long but the opportunity to sign him never came. Chelsea was willing to let him go this summer and we pounced at the chance as our first-choice Box To Box Midfielder is at the wrong side of this thirties. It's also a huge bonus that Adam is English and the midfield technician will be integrated into our starting 11 right from the start. Bas Smit No, his real name is not van Dijk! But he's Dutch, costs 80 million pounds and is one of the best center-backs on the game. We wouldn't have made the decision to splash such huge cash on a 30-year-old but Scholesy wanted that Champions League title. Let's hope our very own van Dijk can inspire us to the trophy like how he did for Liverpool in real life \o/ Claudio Gaspar We finally found a keeper who is comparable to the one we lost to Barcelona on transfer deadline day a couple of years ago! Claudio is such an incredible shot-stopper and is decent in the box as well for someone who's only 185 cm tall. He will be a huge upgrade for us in the goalkeeping position

DavidBeckham
It's a tight group with three strong teams fighting it out for the two qualification places and we didn't start well after only one win in our opening three fixtures.
