Constantine
Che miserie nascono dall avidità - A Foggia Calcio story (What wretched things are born of greed) Foggia is a club i kinda liked since those mad, Zeman days but one i truly started to love last year, when i played online save with my mate. Brescia v Foggia, oh, what battles we fought. Because of that game, i started following them in real life. I was saddened to hear they were convicted of financial mismanagement (tax evasion) but that'll only make this save more difficult, more interesting, as we start with -8 points (Was 15 at first, if i'm not mistaken). Squad is looking quite decent, few really great players but at the wrong side of 30s. C'mon boys. Fresh start. Let's do things right way from now on. Always happy to play in Italy. Bunch of young, quality players, some great clubs to choose from, even in the lower leagues. And i grew up watching Serie A, which was in his prime back then so i'll always have a soft spot for them.
Constantine
Foggia Calcio // August 2018. Serie B Since i've disabled transfers in the first window, no new players has arrived. We've come into season with default team and that team... Really isn't that bad. Carpi away, we haven't started to play as good as we did in those friendlies and we deservedly lost. Home team overplayed us in every aspect. But improvements has been made for our first game in front of our crowd. Scored two, could've put two more behind their keeper. Spezia, it was like NBA game in football. No defense was played that day. I've rotated heavily, as many players were tired from two games in three days. Luckily, that decision didn't come back to bite me in the a$$. At the moment, we're at -2 points after first three games. Pleased with that. Coppa Italia Walked through Serie C side and then surprised SPAL. Equal game, we just took our chances. Next opponent is Padova, i think
Constantine
As for tactics, i've settled on some variation of 442, really similar to one i've used with a lot of success at Ejido in my last fm18 save. I do have 4141 as backup and for closing game but main one will be wing play 442.

Constantine
Foggia Calcio // September & October 2018. Serie B We really hit it out of the park in September. Some fantastic performances, as we smashed Verona and Lecce, top two clubs right now. Good form continued in October and then incident with Deli happened. I would love to offer him a new contract but our wage budget is a mess. Need to have a clear out in January, so it can come back to a normal state. But i can't explain that to them, so bastards rebelled against me. And our form suffered. Badly. This ship needs straightening. And fast. Before is too late... Constantine
Foggia Calcio // November & December 2018. Serie B Our form hit rock bottom, as we were defeated by struggling Venezia. But two friendlies with lowly rated opposition later, our morale got back into green zone and we started picking up points. Cosenza game was one we should be winning easily but i had to rotate, since our December schedule was MAD. Whole schedule is one big mess, as we play one game then go on hiatus for two weeks and after that we got 5 games in two weeks time. F*** off. Coppa Italia Easy one but we're bound for challenge in the next round. We've got ourselves a nice trip to Artemio Franchi.
Constantine
OUT I fixed one problem, selling unhappy players, freeing wage budget but made a new one in the process, as my starting left back became irritated because we lacked depth. Now i got unsettled players once again. Give me a break. IN Few cheap but quality loanees Started as backup but he does seem ready to take over from elderly Bizzarri Planned as left wing backup but since Kragl rejected my contract offer and signed pre-contract with Stuttgart, i might play Gomes instead He terrorized me in previously mentioned Brescia v Foggia save, but now, he's seen the light Quality defender
Constantine
Foggia Calcio // January & February 2019. Serie B Undefeated in new year. We kept dropping points in silly games but still pushing for second place and direct promotion. Next month will be make it or break it for us, as we face both teams in front of us Coppa Italia This scoreline flatter us. We were 4-0 behind, Simeone was running rampant. Two goals and assist
Constantine
Foggia Calcio // March 2019. Serie B I was so... So furious!! We were brilliant first two games. Hold our own against opposition who's, quality wise, ahead of us. And to f*** it all up at home... C'mon guys, you're better than that. Six games to go. Six finals for us. Constantine
Foggia Calcio // April & May 2019. Serie B What a terrific end to our season. Hand to God, those aren't toughest opponents one could face, as most of them struggled and were in battle for relegation but still... Mad thing is, even without points deduction, we still wouldn't have won the title, as Pescara was outstanding. Great season for them, fantastic for us. Can't wait to face them again in Serie A. Already working on few signings and i'm ecstatic about one of them. Really special player for me. You'll see who he is soon enough.

Constantine
Busy, extremely busy summer, as we prepare for my debut in Serie A. Can't say enough how happy i am that Dybala went off to City. He's one player i grew to hate purely due to FM. He scored every time he played against me. EVERY. FREAKING. TIME. OUT Couple of first teamers from last year and bunch of kids left us. Only Kragl will be missed. But, we've got capable replacements. Will that be enough for Serie A survival? Time will tell... IN I've pulled Beppe Marotta and hunted down best players we could've get on Bosman. For a price we have paid, i think we did well in this transfer window. In my previous Foggia game, he was a beast. Yet here he look so bad, so undercooked. So, so, so happy we've got him!! One of my favorite players because of FM. He was crucial player in Foggia's title winning season last year and i surely hope to reproduce that here. One for the future As things stand right now, our starting CD Had him in some previous team. He can become decent playmaker Attacking fullback Our #1. He has nasty clause in his contract, minimum release fee 400k, as he didn't want to sign without that. I hope we can remove that before January... Another talented midfielder He was phenomenal in beta save i've played with Birmingham so of course i signed him again. Backup goalie He will start on the left D'Amico will fight him for right wing position Backup left back One of the most talented Serbian youngsters

DazRTaylor
Foggia, one of my all time favourite Italian clubs, since their heady days of the mid 1990’s, when a Series A ruled and all the best players played there. I recall Foggia asset stripping virtually their entire playing staff at that time, selling for (then) huge fees and spending a fraction of it replacing the squad with mainly Serie C players. Everyone said they would go down and may not win a game. They finished ninth. Love this thread!
Constantine
Foggia Calcio // August 2019. Serie A Couldn't imagine a better start to our Serie A campaign than this. Looked really good in both matches, controlled the game on both occasions. And Joveljic was outstanding, scoring 3 goals already. But... Next month is... Scary. Fiorentina and Napoli away, Lazio and Inter at our home. Yeah, it's gonna be fun... Coppa Italia Quick warm up before season start
Constantine
Foggia Calcio // September & October 2019. Serie A Well, honeymoon is officially over... Really tough period for us. And we weren't even that bad. Sucker punched Fiorentina, outplayed both Lazio and Inter but couldn't finished them. And Juve beat us in a true Juve fashion. We were leading 0-2 and just moments before first half ending, referee sent Joveljic off for some random tackle. And we were in trouble from that moment on. Khedira scored after rumble in our box following a corner kick. Orsolini turned into Messi, dribbling past three defenders and Bentancur scored a f****** screamer from 25-30 meters. So yeah, i was pissed... Well, at least FM got Juve matches right. It was a blow to our morale, as we failed to pick ourself up in the following games. Couldn't play anything resembling football to save our life. Couple of fines and a team meeting later, we got our first points in October. Hopefully, there's more to come... Constantine
Foggia Calcio // November & December 2019. Serie A First of all, sorry for the lack of updates, as i ended up playing an online save with my mate more than i did this one with Foggia. Anyhow... Life is good. After a rough patch, we finally got couple of wins in a row under our belt, morale improved and we're playing with more confidence. More fluidly, which is nice to see after some really dull and uninspired performances. It took Eggestein a while to start scoring but he's been immense last couple of games. Happy for him and i hope that continue for a long time. Coppa Italia Knocked out by Sampa. I'm fine with that, played reserves, as this match came at really bad time. We'll win this competition someday...
Constantine
OUT Not much has changed, really. Only one player among those who left us has featured in first team. He was moaning and moaning, requesting more play time so i've let him to find it at SPAL. Another good thing, we finally earned some money for transfer business. IN Direct replacement for Camporese. That's it. Young, talented but a bit rough around edges. Those physicals really need some work. Other than that, he's fantastic. Unfortunately, he broke his toe as soon as he joined us and i had to wait for him to make a debut till the end of February.
Constantine
Foggia Calcio // January & February 2020. Serie A Not as bad as it looks but it should've been better. We were equal with most of these teams (except Inter) but just failed to capitalize on chances created. And opponents were lethal, scoring from pretty much anything. Can't be mad at guys. But we should've beaten Chievo. That game was frustrating to watch, as we missed chance after chance
