So i thought we could have dedicated thread for training tips and suggestions to get the best out of our squad. Here is mine.

My Philosophy is to pass the ball around at a high tempo with short passes while looking to exploit space between the lines. I press high up the field and look to win the ball back.

Tip #1 Always have a clear idea of how you want your team to play. Set up your tactic before going into training.

Now that i have an idea of how my team should play, i now think about what attributes are best needed to play this style of football. Off the top of my head based on my philosophy, i need to ensure that my players have a high technical ability to make the passes needed, to keep possession of the ball. I know that I need good stamina and mental to help my players win the ball back and maintain my press for 90minutes.

Tip #2 Have an idea of what type of attributes you need to focus on in training.

Now to the schedule.  The default schedules are pretty decent and don't need much tinkering. Now i know how i want to play, i know what type of attributes I need to focus on. If i am in pre-season. I would set up my schedule to reflect my player's condition. So I would go in look at my Calender for the month and think ok since am in preseason my focus is getting my players match fit and building up my tactical familiarity.

Suggestion #1 Use the month overview screen, It helps when planning your training sessions and it isn't as overwhelming as the multiple options.

By clicking on one of the training items i can see what type of training will be done, what attributes will be increased Now i like to. think of it. as a puzzle. I will have one of week of physical training. Then my next week would be tactical training. The best part of this new system is that most options improve your tactical familiarity.

When the season begins, I would go in at the start of the month and bring up my training calender, this will allow me to see how much days of training i have, how much rest days and how far apart are my matches. If i see that i have 3 matches in a week, i know that i would schedule more rest and recovery sessions than acctually training sessions.

Tip # 3 Pay keen attention to how far apart are your match days . Managing these well can have your players being at peak fitness for a match and reduce injuries.

Now this is where i personally love the new training session. When i started my Redbull save, i realize that my teams was missing chance after chance. I thought to myself wait, i need to get these guys to do some chance conversion. I went into training and brought up technical and selected chance creation. In that little box it tells me what are he attributes we as a team will be working on.

Tip #4 If your team is failing to perform a certain aspect  of your tactics or is vunerable to a certain pattern of events. Schedule training sessions to improve on these weakness. Conceding from set-pieces, schedule more defensive set pieces. Since i schedule more chance conversion, i am seeing an improvement in my team taking chances.

Training is all about Balance, i like to set up week training sessions aim at improving a certain aspect of my team. Because i know my style of play will require my players to have high technical ability, i will naturally have more technical and attacking training sessions. As i need my players to ensure that they are technically excellent. But, i also ensure that my defenders and goal keepers are not being negelected. So if i spend two weeks on improving my teams renttion of the ball and attacking patient. I will equally spend two weeks improving my goal keepers and defenders.

Tip #5 Don't overcrowd your training schedule with one type of focus. Football is a team game and we must ensure that each member of our squad is getting dedicated training sessions.

At first training will seem daunting and boring and lots of work, after an hour or so looking through you realize that you can make changes on the fly and it doesn't even take you a minute. This isn't a guide but my personal take on creating a good training schedule for my team.  At the moment it looks to be working, we have gone unbeaten and training happiness has been high.
