joshmay07 Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 does this option come up after selecting nations and database size? i had a problem in fm08 with the data editor on my old laptop it never came up with an option to select databse "custom" only default and any upodates i had installed IE. 8.0.2 i had a look in the ------- "user name, My documents, Sports interactive, Football manager 2008, Data, db " and it would be in there so in the "db" folder i created another folder called "db" and put the "custom" database in there and it worked. What a website lol hope this helps mate That is most probably because you had the user data folder in preferences set to My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\db instead of My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008 which it should be.
