kleb
I've read the official release of FM09 is advanced to the 13th. Does this mean that the activation will also be open from the 13th?

CaptainPlanet
Activation will not start until the 14th. The game will not be officially released until the 14th. What you read is a lie.
Mike7077
I'd be very interested to know where you read this as it would seem strange that SI would bring the release forward and then not announce it on their website.
kleb
http://fm.manutd.nl/content/view/1925/184/#jreactions] It's Dutch though... In Steam is also the date Nov 13. Sports interactive has yesterday known made that Football Manager 2009 the thirteenth of November to obtain is from Steam instead of the earlier named date: 14 November. The game self lies already well in the stores and may even already wanted to become only the men its with a thaw sparrow cheerfully made, for he just next week is to be activated via Steam, internet or via the telephone, what falls to read here. Or the verificatie of the game also that knowledge we have been advanced not yet but of that can we well out with a day go. Freetranslation (A) That dutch site is dumb, it's still coming out on the 14th, on steam it says 3 days and 13 hours which means 12 midnight on thursday 13th/going into friday 14th. The only reason it may say 13th on steam is because it's an American site (you even pay in dollars) and they are about 6 hours behind the UK. So when it's 12 midnight here, it'll still only be about 6pm over there, hence why it says the 13th.
Suttface
Are you still flogging this dead horse kleb? I think SI would have responded to one of your numerous threads on here if this were true. You can download from Steam on the 13th but activation won't be possible until the 14th, as far as I'm aware. The fact that you already have a copy of the game is irrevelent. Perhaps all your posts are a little hopeful...? I'm not sure SI will change their policy simply because you keep asking...
Matt ex SEGA
There will be a statement on this at some point today as I mentioned last week. As of now, there has not been an official statement.
