Dutchy1983
Aaron Cresswell aged 29, suffers a pulled hamstring after hitting a purple patch of form through January and Feb. Been out for about a week and I get some player development news, Cresswell is now only a good championship player , previously a good premier division player. Quite a big drop I thought, I click on him, he's Acceleration has dropped from 14 to 8 in one week!!! Anyone else seen such an extreme hit?? Could understand if he was 34 and his legs just left him but 29 still in his prime in the game (not in real life!) dcaine100
Thats gotta be a bug never seen a stat drop that quick!
chob
It does seem a bit extreme but this could be possible in real life. Maybe it is one of those career defining injuries. Either way I'd report it as a bug just in case.
ermant
My 27 years old player also had a pulled hamstring injury after being tackled in a match and his acceleration dropped 5 points from 16 to 11 suddenly. I haven't seen this before but there are many similar threads, all hamstring injuries. No other physical attribute, including pace, is affected. So, is this a known bug or something? Even horrible injuries don't cause a drop this much.
FrazT
It would be worth monitoring this to see what happens to these attributes if and when he gets back into full training and fitness.
SI Staff Seb Wassell Posted November 25, 2019 SI Staff Share Posted November 25, 2019 Whilst a drop in Acceleration is almost an expected result of a hamstring injury, these drops do sound quite significant, especially if they are permanent. It would be worth posting here please so that we can investigate - https://community.sigames.com/forum/743-training-medical-and-development-centre/
enigmatic
Drop sounds for a rare case of a 29 year old suffering a significant hamstring issue, but if it was that bad I'd expect him to be out for more than a week and some kind of warning from the medic that it might be a chronic problem
RandomGuy.
I've had a few massive drops, but it's usually bravery after a leg break etc.

Often, the player's Bravery will (part) return over time. We'd be interested in investigating large drops in Acceleration for non-significant hamstring injuries though, if people have examples. I would investigate the attribute drop if it would increase back or not but the player had another hamstring strain injury in training just after he returned to full training. He seems to be in some kind of a loop. Hamstring strain (3 weeks), pulled hamstring (11 days), hamstring strain (3 weeks) in 3 months time. I'm pretty sure 5 points drop was after the pulled hamstring injury and in head physio's report he says "there is no indication this will cause any problems in the future" but it caused a huge drop. Now when he returns back again, i will set the training intensity manually and try to break the loop. We will see if his acceleration will increase back to normal but I am not optimistic about it. It seems like a permanent drop.

Make use of the "Injury Rehab" individual training options Sure He had already been in general rehab training before the latest injury. I have never seen the "injury rehab" option activated. It's always greyed out, even after 6-8 months injuries. I guess it's about the rehabilitation phase of a long term injury and can't be selected manually. Only general rehab is activated and the player takes it now. Edited November 26, 2019 by ermant

I think the Injury rehab is a heading - And the options are what's underneath. Maybe something for the UI Team - But the fact this is a heading could be made clearer by changing the colour - Grey\Faded denotes to many that it's an option we'd be able to click on at some time, which it's not. This is indeed a heading, with the entries beneath this being the options for selection. Could you post that as a bug for me please?

I have never seen it as a heading all this time as it was the same font. Injury rehab, set pieces and attributes are headings as nothing pops up when you move the mouse on them.
