scarp
BOAVISTA FUTEBOL CLUBE On the way to conquer the Europe! This year I'll be starting in Porto trying to return Boavista back to the top. They're currently not doing so well in real life and I'd like to change it. I will most likely be changing clubs once in a while as I will see fit according to my personal career opinions and I will try to become one of the best all-time managers. Boavista was one of the leading Portugal clubs before its fall in 2008. It took them some time to get back to Premier League but now they're here and thrive for getting back to the top. The squad I've found was pretty okay-ish and since we got no money to spend there were no transfers during the first summer. This is the tactic I will be using the most as well as the best possible line-up.
scarp
AUGUST 2018 Beautiful start to the season away at Belenenses followed with two wins at home which catapult us to the top of the table.
scarp
SEPTEMBER 2018 Lost at home to Braga after a great game for unbiased football fans. Thought our great run would be over but then we beat Sporting away and are on 2nd place behind Porto which is one point clear. Also we lost in League Cup in August to Madeira and I forgot to take screenshot.
scarp
OCTOBER 2018 Looks a bit as we made a pact with the devil as we continue our great run through league while losing to second division' Famalicao in Taca de Portugal.
scarp
NOVEMBER 2018 Two losses against bottom tier teams mean an end to our fairytale at least for now. Also for some reason there are only 2 fixtures in November and we have more than 3 week pause til we play FC Porto on 2nd December. Speaking of national team's pauses - none of our players are currently playing for their national sides.

scarp
@john1 Thanks man! Hopefully we get some wins again but it will be tough as FC Porto awaits next!
scarp
DECEMBER 2018 We had really tough schedule this month but I still wanted to take at least 6-7 points out of those four games.. We are still 5th though which means we have a decent shot at making Europe.
scarp
JANUARY 2019 Pretty okay-ish month but we should have beaten Belenenses aswell. I've been offered a 2-year extension and accepted the deal. Signed paraguayan attacker Villalba from Gladbach on loan til the end of the season.
scarp
FEBRUARY 2019 Another terrible month but we still hold onto EURO Cup position. Not sure how to be honest. Signed this guy on loan as we had no backup LB. Also I've signed someone for free who will come for next season on Bosman who I am finally satisfied with. scarp
MARCH 2019 Two wins and one loss? I will take it. We are back to top5. Next month will be crucial though. Great youth in-take seeing that I am in need of striker and wingers. JOAO TRINDADE ALVARO BARBOSA JOSE RODRIGUES
scarp
APRIL 2019 Looks like winning is back on the menu! I tried to surprise FC Porto with a different tactic and it backfired, anyway it was a great month. Four games to go and we play Benfica next. Champions League is off the table though.
scarp
MAY 2019 Decent month to finish our season. We did not concede any goal and finished May with 5-0 score. Could won against Aves though. European football is very needed because of the club's poor financial situation. Ouch.
scarp
2018/2019 SEASON I am happy with the season as we really needed the money from European football. Next year we hopefully do way better in League Cup and Taca de Portugal. I agree with everything that has been awarded here. We used three tactics throughout the season, displayed one is the tactic we used the most during autumn and winter. After mid-season crisis we switched to 4-4-2 and last 6 games we played with 4-2-1-2-1 which was kind of the mix between those two mentioned before. André Claro was our topscorer with 14 goals. Most assists had Rochinha (7) and best average rating had Fabio Espinho (7.20). ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
scarp
AUGUST 2019 Tough schedule this month as we have drawed Roma in EURO Cup. That meant the end of our european tour this year but I am not ashamed as we only lost 0-2 on aggrevate. In league we had to play both FC Porto and Sporting without our key players that had to be rested and we lost both of those games. When we had our best lineup we have shown that we can again fight for top 5. Sold three players that had no place in my plans and signed some guys for free, loaned a wonderkid and bought two players. Luiz Phellype, Mario Ferreira and Aschraf El Mahdioui will probably be starting, rest is for rotation. LUIZ PHELLYPE OLIVIER KEMEN PEDRO EMPIS MARIO FERREIRA ALBERTO SENESE ASCHRAF EL MAHDIOUI PAULINHO
scarp
SEPTEMBER 2019 We won our first game in League Cup and had decent showing in League aswell, too bad we lost hard against Braga. Luiz Phellype is in excellent form snatching player of the month award in September.
scarp
OCTOBER 2019 Decent month as we take wins in both cups and 4 points in league games. The table is much more even than last year aswell.
scarp
NOVEMBER 2019 As usual we beat worse team and lose against better team. We also move on in Taca de Portugal.
john1
Such a shame you was drawn against Roma Still going strong
scarp
@john1 yeah! Guimaraes that finished 5th had way easier draw! Thanks
scarp
DECEMBER 2019 Bad month in league followed by moving on in Taca de Portugal and topping our League Cup group which means we get into semifinals where we face FC Porto in Invicta derby.
scarp
JANUARY 2020 Great month in league as we get 3 wins from 3 matches including win against leader of the league FC Porto! Too bad in League Cup semifinal we lost to them but we are also through to Taca de Portugal semifinals where we will face Aves!
scarp
FEBRUARY 2020 Terrible month results-wise but at least we beat Braga and since Rio Ave form was even more poor, we move up to 5th place.
scarp
MARCH 2020 Almost a perfect month if we did not lose to Belenenses at home. Will be very tough to break into top four but we will definitely try. I've seen better in-takes.
scarp
APRIL 2020 Usual loss to Benfica followed by two victories against sub-par teams and draw away to Chaves. I guess it is not bad but it will be hard to finish in top four. We also beat Aves in second leg of Taca de Portugal semifinal and move to finals where we face FC Porto.
scarp
MAY 2020 Our good performances in May and Guimaraes' losses means we finish the season again on fourth place and I got to say I am quite satisfied with that. I have to admit that FC Porto was just way better this game, we had like one decent chance meanwhile they had tons of. I hope one day we will be able to compete with the big three. scarp
2019/2020 SEASON Overall better season than the last one. We finished fourth in league once more and did very well in both cups. EURO Cup was not so good from us but we had really tough draw. This lineup seems about right. Espinho is getting old so we will have to think about replacing him next season. MOST ASSISTS IN PREMIER LEAGUE Close enough! MOST GOALS IN PREMIER LEAGUE Even closer! This is very nice change! Especially great for me since I promised some players to reach CL football this year. Anyway I do not know why the country names are not translated but it's Portugal and Russia anyway. __________________________________________________________________________________---

scarp
AUGUST 2020 So we started by playing Invicta clash once more against FC Porto this time in Supercup.. and we actually put up a fight this time, losing in over-time. Our league results suffered greatly from playing Euro Cup QF games as we had to rest our best players but nonetheless we went 1-1-1 which is not that bad. Now in EURO Cup we had great results moving past Antwerp first and then beating Fenerbahce 3-0 at home, securing an EURO Cup group stage for us! This is how our group looks.. and I am not sure what to expect, no idea how we will fare versus Hannover or Krasnodar. We had no money for transfers so we had to try and get someone for free. I am not very fond of loaning players but Gleison injured for three months in Supercup against FC Porto so in the end we got 2 players on loan aswell. Gleison is supposed to be our LW but since he's injured he will be temporarily replaced by Jeung. Costas should be starting DC but he's injured aswell for like 3 months so the only one who got some playing time already is Imanol Garcia who's currently playing for us as CM. Jenny N'Kassa was free and looked promising so lets see how that goes. At last Maxi Romero joined on loan and he will be mostly used as back-up to Luiz Phellype. We let some players go and sold Gustavo Rocha to Fiorentina as he wanted to go and I had no plans for him currently. IMANOL GARCIA GLEISON DAVID COSTAS JENNY N'KASSA JEONG WOO-YEONG MAXIMILIANO ROMERO
scarp
@SixPointer Thanks! He is currently our starting DC at least until David Costas gets back. He's playing OK but will need some more time in my opinion.
SixPointer
Yeah still has a long way to go. I scouted him for my Kaiserslautern side and they rated him Bundesliga so he must have some potential there to unlock.
scarp
SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2020 I forgot to take league table screen in September so I will just unite those two months into one post. In September we actually beat Tottenham at home 2-0 but other than that it was very mixed results, mostly draws against team we should have beaten. October was just terrible overall and we scored only two goals in 6 games, I have no idea what's happening. We are uut of league cup after draw with Belenses and are looking real bad in league, at least EURO Cup is going well though.
scarp
NOVEMBER 2020 We go 2-1-0 in league and move up a bit but it is very even except for the top four.. On the other hand in EURO Cup we lose to Krasnodar which may cost us in the end and get draw on White Hart Lane. Also moving through in Taca de Portugal. Luiz Phellype is not scoring and we have no replacement.
scarp
Aaand we are out of Europe cos of this.
scarp
DECEMBER 2020 We are out from both EURO Cup and Taca de Portugal and I am kinda sad. Looks like another top five finish and nothing else.
scarp
January 2021 Only three games in January as we are out of both cups. Decent wins at home, too bad we could not beat Aves aswell.
scarp
FEBRUARY 2021 We are unable to consistently beat lower-tier teams and that is why we won't reach top three this season. I also signed some youngsters in January and Kuznetsov is already playing for first team, scoring two goals away to Belenenses. VLADYSLAV KUZNETSOV

scarp
APRIL 2021 We got demolished by FC Porto but other than that it was very succesful month and we are back to our favourite position in top 4.
scarp
MAY 2018 Finished fourth again - hopefully we get a breakthrough next year.
scarp
2020/2021 SEASON Our season was not exactly bad but I wanted it to be way better. Both domestic cups eliminations should be avoided this early and we definitely should have play european football in Spring aswell! David Simao is clearly our best player.. when your central midfielder scores the most goals you know there is something wrong with your strikers. All wingers were terrible throughout the season and so were the strikers.. Need massive reinforcements there. ________________________________________________________________________________________
scarp
Just realized we finished with 63, 64 and 64 points. That's consistency
scarp
AUGUST 2021 We move on to EURO Cup groups after we beat Feyenoord 6-0.. and then we los in home to Gil Vicente.. Terrible results in league. Very hard draw in my opinion. Jose Rodrigues just would not sign a new deal without release clause.. so I had to give him one and Man City triggered it. I decided to sell Rochinha as he did not play exactly well last year and Luiz Phellype for the same reason. scarp
SEPTEMBER 2021 Pretty good month, too bad we drew in Feirense and could not hold to draw against Roma. Looks like games against Bilbao will be essential. We play Benfica next.
scarp
OCTOBER 2021 Loss to Benfica at first but then we beat Athletic on their soil! Now if we do not lose to them at home we should hopefully be able to qualify! We drew Rio Ave in League Cup but we still should move on to semis. Good win against Pacos Ferreira who was 4th at the time. And we also move on in Taca de Portugal.
scarp
NOVEMBER 2021 Terrible month as we bottle our home game against Bilbao which means we are knocked out of EURO Cup even though we later drew in Roma. Lost at home to Rio Ave aswell. Changed tactic a little bit after Rio Ave game to play some kind of diamond 4-1-3-1-1 and one winger is on our way to us in winter so may get back to playing with wingers.
scarp
DECEMBER 2021 Feels a bit insecure. We are horrible.
scarp
JANUARY 2022 My position is unstable and I do not blame them. Could not get any reinforcements aswell :/ and I sold Cardoso to Roma for a million pounds as he wanted leave and was unhappy at the club for one straight season.. which caused more unhapiness in dressing room.. Perhaps time to change clubs?
