ted1986
Something I’ve been attempting to fix through Advanced Rules on the Editor (to no avail) is stopping certain teams playing at home on the same day that would never be allowed to do so IRL - as seen recently by the switching of the Manchester clubs’ Champions League ties. Is something that has happened quite frequently in previous saves with Rangers/Celtic post-split and in year two onwards, as well as the Milan clubs, etc. Would there be a possibility of adding an option in the Editor’s clubs section, along the lines of ‘Cannot play at home on same day as’ and a filter dropdown to choose which teams coul? This would then be taken into account during the fixture generation, so that in the leagues, those teams would be separated home and away on the same weekend/weekday dates in the scheduling of their respective leagues where fixtures would overlap; in cups, ties would switch days to avoid clashing; and in continental cups, like the CL draw the other day, a switched tie would be based on the criteria laid down by the governing body. Doesn’t seem to make a difference, unfortunately.
