blowcrapup
The Tangerine Army Ji Dan (ST) Initial Profile Season 2 Season 3 |----------------------------------------------------------| | Season | Club | Games | Goals | Assts | MOM | Rating | |----------------------------------------------------------| | 2010 | Xiangtao | 30 | 6 | 3 | 1 | 6.33 | | 2011 | Xiangtao | 26 | 7 | 1 | 1 | 6.29 | |----------------------------------------------------------| Totals Games - 56 Goals - 13 Assists - 4 MOM - 2 Missed 5 weeks through injury this season. Scored more than last season but was outshone by other strikers I brought in. Is still considered the strongest young striker in the side but with another good young striker coming in after being released from the SuperLeague he could find himself phased out. Xue Yan (AMR) Initial Profile Season 2 |----------------------------------------------------------| | Season | Club | Games | Goals | Assts | MOM | Rating | |----------------------------------------------------------| | 2011 | Xiangtao | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 6.42 | |----------------------------------------------------------| Really suffered this year through injury. Missed 6 months and 2 weeks this season (the Virus and a hurt elbow, a hurt elbow!!!! 6 months out with Ebola or something then he whines about an elbow grrrrr:mad:). Zhou Zen (DRLC) Initial Profile Season 2 |----------------------------------------------------------| | Season | Club | Games | Goals | Assts | MOM | Rating | |----------------------------------------------------------| | 2011 | Xiangtao | 15 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 6.76 | |----------------------------------------------------------| Scored on his league debut. In his second game he scored an own goal then 15 minutes later scored his only other goal of the season. Played on and off throughout the season but was mainly on the bench as my defence never seemed to lose fitness as quick as other places. Yu Jianling (DC) Initial Profile Is already recommended to be in the first team but I think thats because my last DC was a loanee. Either way hes the worst player in there. Is going to be my penalty taker when he does play though.

tomsmith1989
Jianling looks decent. Another penalty taker for you. His mental stats seem a bit low though. blowcrapup
Hes not great in comparison. In China a lot of the youngsters released by the Superleague players are decent and willing to play for teams in the first division. I have about 6 players like that. tommyh_16
I think the conceded box is meant to be the games box (at least it is for the player above). On a serious note IMO Welsh is the stronger of the 2 new players Jacksons may have better physicals in certain areas but Welsh is more balanced. Yeah, your right. I mixed it up when changing the code from outfield player to GK. Well i hope you are right! as i very much need a striker who can score a few goals this season. From your batch of youngsters, who do you think is your best player? and do you think any/many will get much oppurtunity in the first team in the coming season?
blowcrapup
I think Zhou Zen is the most useful of all my players but Jianling could be something as well. They will all be getting games over the course of a season mostly as subs but if they play well they will get extended runs. One word of advice. On FM09 its easier to retrain players into new positions so don't be afraid to do that. For example Xue Yan is now an AMR/C after just over a year. blowcrapup
Unless you have an Ass Man with 20 in Judging player ability and potential don't take his figures as an exact measurement of how good players are. With only average facilities and in BSP at the time, I was exceptionally surprised and delighted to see a player of this calibre. He has been used as a late substitute for experience as we already have a star left wing. He has received some tutoring and looks to be improving steadily. Recieved an offer of Ł24k and a 45% sell on clause from Championship side Watford. I didnt want to sell, and considered this offer an insult. Countered for Ł2.5m and they promptly withdrew. His form was a bit erratic, following a good performance up with something well below par. On the whole, a massive improvement and still only 18yrs old. I was perhaps a bit biased in my enthusiasm to get him into the team, but we have a new top AM L arriving in the summer, so he will be back to having to fight for his spot again. Our current captain is retiring this season, and his mental stats indicate he could be a candidate as a potential leader of the team. One decision I will have to make soon. sirdez24
sirdez24 - BSP - 2012/13 Youth player 1: Bill Farrell (2010 crop) Initial profile End of first season End of second season End of third season Player of the Season 2012/13 Becoming a genuine star. I made him my vice-captain before the season and he responded with a wonderful campaign. Scored goals, split defences and generally ran the show from the middle of the park. Has been attracting interest from numerous clubs still, including Burnley, Luton and Kilmarnock, but his value is still surprisingly low and there's been no offers made. Youth player 2: Joe Mockford (2011 crop) Initial profile End of first season End of second season Another very good campaign. Started as a regular on the bench due to his versatility, but because my central defenders were quite error-prone, he got his chance as a starting CB in the second half of the season and performed extremely well. I still think his future lies as a holding midfielder however. Youth player 3: Tom Short (2012 crop) Initial profile End of first season Very good debut season. Seemed to be very good in the air and a lot of his assists came from headed flick-ons, while he became more of a goal-threat as the season progressed. Not sure what his level will end up being but I imagine he'll improve a fair bit yet. Signed a full-time contract too. All three players are now in my Overall Best Eleven. He’s been doing well in training though and the coaches still rate him with 4* potential. I’ll be looking to give him more games this time round. Prodigy 3 (ST, Turkish) Faruk Mermer: Initial Profile (June 2012) *taken in July as I overwrote the save point by accident :o PPMs - none Left foot - very weak Right foot - very strong Another striker (in 3 seasons I’ve already had as many as in 13 seasons last time ) and he looks a better prospect than Kubilay. Physicals looks good but he needs some technical work. His mental stats (specifically the high agression and extremely low concentration, anticipation and decisions) seems to suggest he has ADDS so a good tutor will be required to sort him out. DodgeeD
Class! Faruk just made his debut as a sub. 2 mins on the pitch and he was in the box, nowhere near the ball when his marker elbowed him in the face! The defender got a red, we got the penalty and Faruk got the assist Apart from that he was crap though...
sirdez24
My latest crop produced three strikers and a left winger. I needed defenders but what can you do? Andy Downes Easily the pick of the bunch. Great physical stats, finishing and first touch. Only one-footed and has no PPMs, but he'll start right away. Scotty Walds
Boston United 2010 - Colin Mellon (League Two potential) Season 1 Season 2 Season 3 Season 4 Mellon had a good season in the first team, capitalising on the injuries to regular striker Jones. He scored 11 goals in total, in 24 starts and 5 substitute appearance. Hopefully, he'll become more prolific as he develops. 2011 - Richard Adams (Blue Square Premier potential) Season 1 Season 2 Season 3 Adams made 8 start in 2012/13, including in the FA Cup victory over Norwich. He should play more this season. 2012 - Steve Stevens (League Two potential) Season 1 Season 2 Stevens was unlucky in his first ever season. I promoted him to the first team squad after he turned 17 and signed a full time contract. He made just 2 starts before suffering a broken leg, that ended his season prematurely. He would have played more games, due to the pile up of fixtures we had towards the end of the season. 2013 - Mick Brough (Blue Square Premier potential) Season 1 A centre back who cannot tackle or head the ball. I can't see Brough being offered a full time contract, to be honest...

He did score on his debut with a back post header whcih was nice. Youth Project 4 Nuno Rocha - D/WBR Portugese Left Foot - Very Weak Right Foot - Very Strong PPMs - None Initial Profile For a 15 year old he looks very good. My coach really likes him and says he has the potential to be one of the best players at the club. This now means I have two good, young DRs, and so i'm thinking of implementing a rotation to try and get the best of them both. Do you think this would be a good idea, or would trying to loan him out be better?

kroblues
Its been a while since I've done one of these so I'll just put in the project's current profiles. Emanuele Urbinati Moved to Perugia for 500k in 2012/13, and is still there in 2018/19 at the age of 25. Has made a total of 146 club league appearances, 75 for San Marino Calcio and 71 for Perugia. Is coming up to 50 caps, with 48 so far. Unsurprisingly his development has levelled out, and his ability is roughly the standard of Serie C1. http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/kroblues/?action=view¤t=Urbinati5.jpg Career Stats: Appearances: 146 Goals: 7 Assists: 23 Intern'l Caps: 48 Intern'l Goals: 1 Filippo Renzi Has also moved on from San Marino Calcio, moving for 130k to Casale in Serie D. A solid performer for them in Serie C2 but is not likely to progress further. He has been somewhat of a creative force for them, grabbing 30 assists in his first two seasons. He is also a San Marino regular, with 32 caps currently. http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/kroblues/?action=view¤t=renzi4.jpg Career Stats: Appearances: 181 Goals: 15 Assists: 47 Intern'l Caps: 32 Intern'l Goals: - Alessandro Ceccoli The only one of the 'originals' still at the club, and is a solid back up in Serie B, but Serie C1 is maybe more his level. He is 2 appearances away from his 100th in the league for San Marino Calcio and is over 40 caps, with 2 goals. http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/kroblues/?action=view¤t=Ceccoli3.jpg Career Stats: Appearances: 98 Goals: 12 Assists: 13 Intern'l Caps: 41 Intern'l Goals: 2 Marco Fabbri A goalkeeper, so not brilliant, but he looks to have good potential, and has spent a couple of seasons out on loan, one at Cesenatico, where he did decently at the age of 17. He was on loan at Serie C1 Sassuolo last season, where he was their first choice, so maybe a few first team appearances are likely in the near future, but he is behind another couple of youngsters bought into the club who are better than him at the moment. He could be good enough for Serie A if he reaches his potential. He is already San Marino first choice keeper from his first 2 caps, and hopefully he will retain that for a while, maybe getting over 75 caps if he is lucky. http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/kroblues/?action=view¤t=fabbri.jpg Career Stats: Appearances: 40 Conceeded: 41 Clean Sheets: 14 Intern'l Caps:

He's won the SPL football writers player of the year and English players young player of the year. A product of my youth academy at Celtic, he was my first signing upon my appointment as manager at Man U where he attracted a club record bid from Barcelona. NepentheZ
It wasn't a "me" thing, this HoF. My whole intention of the Panel thread was to get you guys input and deliver the best HoF possible. I'm not sure if its "the best" yet, but things can always be changed in the future if we think of new, better ideas. The most important thing today was getting it up and running. I'm working on Fry's HoF page now. I'm going to PM Dafuge and Rickaldo about thier inclusion, and see if they wouldn't mind doing it for thier men. I think we take John Adam's page as a "template" too - so when I PM them, I'll PM them the link to Adam's Page, so they can copy it to use.
