scarp
December 2027 We finish Champions League group on a high note as we beat Spartak 4-0 at home while Eray Aydin scores a hattrick - funnily enough he scores two more hattrick in three following games meaning he's scored 9 goals in last 4 games from central midfield. Thanks to Galatasary only drawing in the last autumn round we reach number one spot in the table once more. We player very well in group stages this year and we have got a decent opponent in knock-out round.
scarp
January 2028 Perfect month as we move on forward in Turkish Cup and also win all our games in Super League although Galatasaray is still holding onto us like a tick.
oriole01
Just caught up with the whole thing... what an excellent career this has been so far! Love the idea, brilliant gradual progression to go all the way with CSKA and hopefully soon with Basaksehir too. Definitely looking forward to when you get to Berlin, should be a real challenge to turn the likes of Hertha or Union into Champions League winners. I'll be following along for sure! Thank you so much oriole01! Yeah I am looking forward to Berlin aswell - I can't remember when was the last time I managed there. I do not want to return to Russia any time soon so St. Petersburg is off the table, also Bucharest and Kyiv (a bit less) will probably be a long grind I am not yet ready for. Leaves up London, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Paris.. and well I definitely do not want to manage PSG so that will be a hard one aswell. This is actually what I love about the challenge the most - I can choose the teams / difficulty I want but still have to follow quite strict choosing policy
scarp
February 2028 Another great month for us as we reach 20+ wins in a row including our win away in Dortmund in 1st Knockout Round. We move to Turkish Cup semifinals after tough games against Sivasspor and we win all our league games even though we did not score much goals. Transfers We sold Carli to Dynamo Kyiv for 10.5 which is very nice considering he's got like 120 minutes this season so far. We signed Philippe Ballo from Monaco for absolute bargain but he will not be able to play for us this season as he's already played for two teams. scarp
March 2028 Another perfect month and we reach 24 wins in a row. I have a feeling that will be the final number as we play Barcelona next since we hammered Borussia Dortmund at home. Speaking of Barcelona - two of their starting players are my ex-CSKA players - Pelayo Morilla and Manor Solomon.
scarp
April 2028 So on a good note we beat Barcelona on away goals and move to CL semifinal.. and that's about it - the rest of the month was horrible. We lost 1-4 to Fenerbahce in Turkish Cup and were eliminated followed by 0-3 loss at Stamford Bridge. Massive drop of form. Youngsters are doing good. scarp
Alfredo Bennett's Universe 10-year special Let's have a look at all important that happened in last ten years so both you and me have a better grasp on how it's going in the world of football. English Premier League Third Man City' title in a row and fifth in the last 5 years - Man Utd is the team that fell off the most even though they clinched the title in 2024/25. West Ham was relegated to Championship. Primera Division 8 titles in 10 years for Real Madrid in La Liga. None other team but Barcelona, Real Madrid or Atletico reached top three in last 9 years. Real Madrid Castilla finished 2nd in Second Division. Serie A Inter is a third different team to win Serie A in last three years. Looks like Juventus's reign finally came to an end as they won only one title in last four years. Milan sneaked a title two years buck bot other than that they were mostly non-existant. Napoli and Atalanta are the two other teams to watch. Bundesliga Similar to R. Madrid, Bayern also won 8 titles in 10 years - RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund claimed one each. Ligue 1 8 titles for PSG and 2 for AS Monaco. Russian Premier League Ten in a row for CSKA Turkish Super League We ruined Besiktas' streak. Champions League Barcelona is the most accomplished CL team of the last decade as they won it twice - no other team did so. Most surprising is probably Leverkusen's and FC Porto's being runners up. Europa League Man Utd won Europa League three times in the last decade. World Cup Argentinas wins it just as Messi retires. European Championship European Championship 2028 just started. Denmark getting silver in 2020 is very interesting. Competition reputation Russia on 6th! Clubs reputation CSKA is more reputable club in Alfredo Bennett's universe than Liverpool, Juventus or Man Utd! Balloon d' Or Messi eventually topped Ronaldo but Mbappé already won 4 aswell. scarp
July 2028 Good preseason followed by easy win in Super Cup. Transfers Axel Englert and Maicon were both finalised somewhere in March so the money we used came from last season's budget. Maicon hopefully immediately becomes one of our best players and Englert will probably spend one season on loan. Tagliafico is a cheap alternative to LB/CM and Pancadas will be our starting RB come next season. I did not want to let go of Plizzari but his contract was expiring next summer and he did not want to renew it so I had to spend a lot of money on Dominik Buric from Rijeka. Some long-time servants left our club this summer - Balic to Feyenoord, Tainio to PAOK and Czyz to Roma on loan and mandatory future fee of 3mil. scarp
September 2028 So we did not concede a single goal all the way until the game against Bayern.. where we conceded five. Hopefully it was just terribly unlucky day for us.
scarp
October 2028 One win and one loss against FC Porto means we may not advance to CL knock-out round. We still did not concede in league although we lost points against Trabzonspor.
scarp
November 2028 Good month again but we only won by one goal against PAOK which means we need to take a point against Bayern if we want to advance in Champions League. scarp
December 2028 Great month as we beat Bayern and secure our spot in knockout rounds. scarp
January 2029 We advance to Turkish Cup quarterfinals. In league we lost points against Bursaspor that is surprisingly on third place currently. No transfers this time around.
scarp
February 2029 First game against PSG was one of the best I have ever seen - goals galore and fantastic win for us thanks to Maicon's hattrick. In the away game we were losing since 3rd minute when Maroslavac scored for PSG. We were holding to a advancing result up until 90+4 when Maroslavac scored second goal and sent PSG up top. Really tough pill to swallow but we will come back stronger next year! Edited July 26, 2019 by scarp

scarp
Five years since the CSKA miracle run - where are they now? Starting eleven: Anton Mitryushkin lost his starting spot the very next season as CSKA bought Jack Butland. He spent three years on the bench before moving to Anderlecht in 2027 for 6.75mil. He helped Anderlecht to win Belgian Cup and then he was immediately bought by Krasnodar for 14.75 mil where he spent the last season as club's number one goalie, helping Krasnodar to finish 7th. Andrey Nosov, the best academy product of Bennett's reign, spent one more season in CSKA before his move to Man City for 56mil. He's still their starting RB after 4 years, winning the league 2 times and Champions League two times in a row. He's currently 25 years old and already has 68 caps for Russian national team. Jerome Onguéné immediately left CSKA following their Champions League victory. Man Utd bought him for 31.5mil, only 5 mil more than he joined CSKA a year before. He was Man Utd's starting CB for 2 seasons and won Europa League with them. In the season 2026/27 he lost his starting spot and one year later he was sent to FC Porto on loan and helped them to secure domestic title. Last season he spent on loan again - this time in Real Sociedad as they finished third! He's 31 years old and has 115 caps for Cameroon. Eduard Löwen spent 3 more years in CSKA - most of them rotating as CB/CM. After that he went to China to Huaxia Xingfu who bought him for 8.5mil. He's 32 years old and currently earning 130k a week there. In the end he's got 1 cap for Germany national team. His current teammates are Höjbjerg, Hermoso, Gagliardini or Yussuf Poulsen. Hördur Magnusson was loaned to West Ham for the very next season. He played only 5 games for them before coming back to Moscow for 2025/2026 season. He was only back-up and in the winter was sold to Vitoria Guimaraes for 300k - he only played 9 games for them before joining New England Revolution for free in 2026 where he played three full seasons. Last month he went back to his hometown Valur in Iceland for free. He's 36 years old and has 88 caps for Iceland national team. Ryan Gravenberch also left CSKA for the next season when Arsenal bought him for 34.5mil. He played 29 games in Premier league in his first season but for the next season he did not make the cut and they sent him on loan to Hoffenheim. He played very well there and Liverpool decided to buy him for 40mil. He played 2 full seasons as starting CM for Liverpool before being sent to Leicester on loan. He only barely escaped relegation with Leicester. He is 26 years old and has 42 caps for Dutch national team. Han-Noah Massengo is still in CSKA. He helped them to win their domestic title every season but they never made it far in Europe again. He has currently 244 apps for CSKA in which he scored 42 goals averaging 7.11 rating. He played five games for French national team. Nikola Vlasic is still with The Army Men and he became the club legend. He has 449 caps for CSKA in which he scored 174 goals. He also has 88 caps for Croatian national team in which he scored 23 goals. He's currently 31 years old. Thiago Almada spent one more season in CSKA and after that he was sold to Liverpool for 37mil. He's starting for Liverpool for 4 years now and he's averaging 15 Premier League goals per season. He has 41 caps for Argentina and he scored 15 goals. He won World Cup with Argentina as one of their best players. Jota is also still in CSKA - he averages around 20 games a year due to injuries and rotation. He is currently 30 years old and he featured in 9 games for Portuguese national team, scoring one goal. He has 191 games for CSKA in which he scored 42 goals and averaged 7.14 rating. Alfredo Bennett's favourite, Fedor Chalov, is still with CSKA as he's never in his life wear a different kit. He is still their starting striker as he's reaching 32 years. He has 433 apps for CSKA and he scored 267 goals. He also played 82 games for Russian national team and scored 32 goals. Rotation: Roman Zobnin spent two and half more seasons in CSKA before he joined AC Milan for 3.2mil. He played 36 games in 2 seasons with AC Milan before he was bought by Genk for 2mil where he's currently one of their best players. He is 35 years old now and he played 117 games for Russian national team, scoring 6 goals. David Cucchi is still CSKA's starting central defender 5 years later. He is 26 years old now and he also won World Cup with Argentina. He has 23 caps for them. Georgy Schennikov retired the very next season. He never played for a different team. Ivan Oblyakov left right after the CL miracle run to join Brighton for the fee of 12mil. He is one of their best players for five straight seasons and his current market value is 45mil even though he is already 30 years old. They only barely escaped relegations last season. He's also played 82 games for Russian national team and scored 10 goals. Manor Solomon spent one more season in CSKA but he wanted to move to get more playing time so he was sold to Frankfurt for 9mil. He played fantastically for 2 seasons in Bundesliga after which Barcelona bought him for stunning 52mil. He played 19 games for Barcelona in which he scored 5 goals before they loaned him to Juventus for the next season. He has 95 caps for Israel and he scored 21 goals. Arnor SIgurdsson spent one more season in CSKA but he was not starting even though he's got 3 goals and 9 assists in the 12 games he played. He spent three next years on loan - in Lazio, Lyon and Newcastle. After that he was finally bought by Cardiff for 17mil and he's their starting winger for two seasons now, scoring 10 goals in 65 games. They finished on 10th place this season. He is currently 30 years old and he has scored 23 goals in 90 games for Iceland. Amad Traore spent the next season on loan in Bologna where he was starting but CSKA would not renew his contract making him join Levante on free. He spent one season in La Liga and one in Second Division when Levante got relegated in 2026. After that he was bought by Alaves for 1.2mil where he played 12 games. Last season he spent on loan in SPAL. Edited July 26, 2019 by scarp
scarp
August 2029 We won Super Cup again and started well in the league. We could not score against Adana though and we only drew them. Transfers: We started by selling Philippe Ballo to West Ham for 30mil. I think Englert is better second choice to Eriksson and 30mil was enough. We sold some non-important players and then also Tagliafico, who I did not want to sell but he had a low release clause and would not sign a new deal. On the other hand we signed brazilian wonderkid Demétrio who will share time with Quintana, our new 2nd/3rd choice CB Kayembe and turkish youngster who will replace Paulo Renato as RB's backup. scarp
November 2029 Another good set of games with an exception of home draw against Frankfurt. scarp
December 2029 We advance in Turkish Cup and are still unbeaten in league - 55 games in a row. scarp
January 2030 We advance in Turkish Cup and also beat Gazisehir in league. I have not had a single 4*+ PA player in youth in-takes for like 4 years and we still win both u21s and u19s competitions. And he is injured for 7 months with his spine. scarp
August 2030 We win Super Cup when as our new boy Simeonov scores in the over-time and start our league campaign with four wins. Decent. Transfers Since the team was a little bit struggling financially (went from 70mil balance to 24mil balance I decided to sell two players together for 115 millions. It is our long-term scorer Alexander Eriksson who joined Real Madrid for the fee of 60mil and Eray Aydin. I did not want Aydin to go as he is turkish but he wanted to leave and was unhappy so I changed my mind and sold him. We also let Rafa Querol go as he was not as good and was on high wages. As a replacement to Querol we bought bulgarian wonderkid Evgeni Simeonov from Ludogorets. I believe Englert can replace Eriksson as our number 1 attacker but we brought Furkan Gür as our second option. Borja Sola has fantastic potential and he should play as DM - I will be swapping between 4-1-2-3 with DM and supportive wingers and 4-2-3-1 (CSKA tactic). Englert overcame him two weeks later when he scored 7 against the same team. We only drew Krasnodar but it does not matter as we were already sure to advance before the game. Three more wins in league. That's a draw!
scarp
January 2031 Good results. So world's best goalkeeper is ours?! Transfers I was looking to strenghten our CB position and signed two players - Muzonho and Acuňa. That meant I had to let someone go (from my 14 allowed foreigners) and I decided to sell Rafael Yuri for the price of 33mil. We sold players worth 150mil this season so far. The other one to go is Quintana but noone wanted him so he only went on loan. Since our starting RB was injured for a long time and we had the money I decided to ivnest to Lucelio which means Pancadas will probably be let go in summer. Erdem Bicer is german with turkish nationality and he will be squad player.
scarp
February 2031 We beat Gladbach 3-0 at home thanks to perfect performance by Halil Demircan. Pablo Temperini came back from another 5 month injury and scored in his first game against Sivasspor. And we still have three games to go.
scarp
March 2031 We beat Gladbach and advance to quarterfinals for the first time in three years. I believe we can do this. Youth in-take First decent player in five years.
scarp
April 2031 We won the title at the start of April with 7 games to go. Against Juventus we won 2-1 at Allianz Area thanks to Englert and then played a wonderful game at home where we won 5-3. Unfortunately Temperini torn his knee ligaments so he's out for 4 months again. We advanced to play FC Bayern in semifinals and we lost the first away game 0-1, they were the better team but I believe we can turn it around even though Englert will be suspended. 102 games unbeaten. scarp
May 2031 We were the better team against Bayern this time around but they showed their experience and secured advance to the final. In the league game of the season we lost to Rizespor after 105 unbeaten games in a row. We also win Turkish Cup in overtime.
