Hovis Dexter Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 (edited) I fully understand why the old tutoring system was abandoned but I think that the current mentoring system is too restrictive. Players from the reserves and youth teams can currently be set to train with the first team in the various training units. It seems totally sensible to me that players in the same training units should be able to join the same mentoring unit. To take a real life example of a couple of years ago when Phil Foden starred to join the first team for training I can imagine that Pep asked the likes of David Silva and Fernandinho to keep an eye on him and give him appropriate help and assistance ... sorry to be Citycentric ... well I’m not really Edited August 6, 2019 by Hovis Dexter 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
