Experienced Defender
If we have customizable roles in other wide positions (FB, WB, WM), why not introduce one in the wide forward slots (AMR/L)? Like wide midfielder, the wide forward would be less attack-minded by default than winger and inside forward, and would not be hard-coded to dribble more, cut inside or run wide, take more risks / cross more often etc. A manager would decide which of these PIs (if any) he or she wants to assign to the WF. I hope the idea is at least worth considering.
ryandormer
I've been thinking that for a couple of years. I think it would be great to have a 'wide forward' with very few instructions, and let the qualities of the player, and his traits, define what he does. It seems like every role in that position is 'specialist'; it would be good to have a more generic one.
