judyislife
My summer trying to get Inter ready to fight Milan passed. Chiesa's 91m sale to PSG was already agreed like I mentioned, I also let Lukaku for 64m to Real Madrid and Eriksen for 48.5m to Leicester. Both were on obscene wages and with younger, potentially better players pushing for their spots. Talles Magno (38m) and Nacho (14m) also left. A bunch of u20s players followed them. As for the incoming transfers - there was one already arranged - Ronaldo Camara from Benfica on a free. Pretty good deal tbh, already looks ready to start games and has 4 + 1 black stars potential. Sent him on loan to SPAL. The people I brought were 4 - Valentin Rosier for 2.1m, Nicolo Zaniolo for 43m, Olivier Boscagli for 27.5m and Alessio Cragno for 5m. Rosier came to offer another option at RB, Zaniolo doesn't really need a presentation, Boscagli will be my first choice left back and Cragno - first keeper. I really wanted to get Stefano Turati with me again as he became an absolute monster and had even more room to grow when I resigned from Milan but they didn't want to hear about it. I strongly recommend him, he was available for a pretty low compensation in the first summer. And here are some of the interesting regens Inter have gathered, most of which will start getting first team playing time this year. Banjelloun, Bottaro and Porcu are products of the academy, Losio, Baioni, Fiore and Girotti have been poached from other teams. In my first official game against Bologna we were down 2-0 before the 10th minute but managed to turn things around and won 3-2. Then we had a 0-0 draw against Lazio and won 4 in a row. That puts us second in the table after 6 games. And well, looking at the top of the table, I might have created a monster. Edit: Forgot the CL draw. It's happening again. Mackem742
I know this is going to be a travesty for some but I just couldnt get into the Milan save so I tried again with Inter! I always like managing in cities Id like to visit . I havent signed anyone of note in the first transfer window apart from a couple of backups and ive sold no one. 2 games in, 2 wins. A 2-1 win away win at Bologna with a last minute free kick from Sensi. Followed by a 5-0 demolition at home to Fiorentina. However ive been given a Champions League draw from hell, Barcelone, Dortmund and Celtic!

Not travesty at all I think Inter is more fun to manage than AC Milan, as AC Milan is more of rebuilding as they got quite alot of old players, but with Inter, is more of fun with decent players there (Lukaku, Eriksen to name a few)

XuluBak
2021-2022 End-of-Season Review My second season was far more entertaining and dramatic than my first. We were as high as fifth, a point off UCL places, in early February, but that was largely a product of how our schedule lined up. I was hoping to stay top ten, and maybe, if things broke right we could sneak into Europe. After three predictable losses (Lazio, Juve, Inter) to close out February, and results elsewhere, things lined up with a clear top five and six sides realistically competing for the last two European spots. After taking one point from Empoli and Udinese (finished 15th & 17th, respectively), we went down 0-2 to Atalanta inside 20 minutes. It didn't look like we were up for it, but Chaves kept us in it, and launched a lethal counter to pull one back before HT. A couple subs flipped the match on its head, with Beghetto (LWB subbed on) bagging a brace seemingly out of nowhere, before Lyanco put it away on a corner. Huge result. Expected that to spark a run. And it did. One where we managed to score one goal in five matches. Fortunately, Chaves would play out of his mind, only allowing one goal during that stretch. Five matches, five points. That left four clubs, fighting for two spots, with two matchdays to go. We held tiebreakers with the other three, so it looked like we just needed to win our last two to get something. Then, Atalanta added a twist by beating Juve in the Coppa Italia Final. That left three competing for one spot... Sampdoria: 59; Brescia(H), Cagliari(A) Frosinone: 57; Parma(H), Brescia(A) [both tiebreakers] Fiorentina: 56; Roma(H), Torino(A) [tiebreaker with Sampdoria] Spoiler We came out on fire against Parma. 2-0 inside 20. But we wasted chance after chance to put it away, so of course they buried a 30-yarder before HT and a 25-yarder after to draw even. Thankfully, Mouandilmadji would put one in the back of the net before the pressure would start to mount and we'd see out the result. Sampdoria would take care of business as well, Fiorentina wouldn't. We needed a win and Sampdoria to drop points... Our result against Brescia was never in doubt. Kean would put us up, Yedlin would make it two. They'd pull one back late, but Lyanco would put it away before it could get nervy. Unfortunately, Sampdoria got off to a fantastic start, scoring inside 4 minutes, so I had one eye on updates for that match most the way. First half, nothing. Early second half, on what it turns out would be their only shot on target, Cagliari made it 1-1. Kept watching, nothing. That'd work... But wait... 16th placed Bologna had somehow managed to make the EC2 final. So again, we needed help. Thankfully, Dutch side AZ would oblige: 3-0. Results Spoiler Final Table Spoiler Kean would finish the season with 25 goals and 5 (Serie A) assists, enough to comfortably collect the Golden Boot (Ronaldo had 19) and good for an insane 53% goal involvement. Lyanco would finish second on our team with nine goals. No one else would manage five. Chaves would keep 16 clean sheets. Player Stats Spoiler Looking ahead We executed our option on Chaves and secured his transfer. We will obviously be doing the same with Kean, but his loan has another year on it, so we can afford to wait, although, we have to spend carefully, as €20M is an absolutely massive transfer fee for us. We desperately need to provide him with some help up front though. WB and midfield upgrades would be welcome, but given our resources, we may just have to make do with what we've got for another year. Value will once again be key this summer. Loan with options to buy have worked out incredibly well. We had a fairly decent intake, but not sure if any have enough potential to really have an impact. Maybe a second-choice keeper and depth midfielder with home-grown potential, which we'll start needing over time. Oh, Dionisi tied, but was unable to break the club goalscoring record with 73. He is retiring. Edited July 23, 2020 by XuluBak

judyislife
Finished my fourth season and first after moving from Milan to Inter and managed to bring the title to the other part of Milan. Didn't expect to do it on the first try and also added a super cup so I basically repeated my last season with Milan. In the CL we got through a horrible group with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Monaco (first on top of that! ) and in return had a quite favorable draw in the later stages but failed against Ajax in the 1/2 final. Esposito was the main man up front and luckily signed a new contract quite quickly after I started playing him regularly. Barella put in some decent numbers in midfield and Bastoni was outstanding in the defence. In the winter I added Filipo Romagna to the squad as I needed a 4th choice CB and he was available for a reasonable 6.75m price.

This time they dipped for a bit and it seemed I'd win, but I collapsed and they recovered, signed Guardiola, and spent more on transfers than any other club in the world, and are just absolutely untouchable. I'm going on my 4th straight season in 2nd place and it's maddening, but I can't say unrealistic...

judyislife
Finished my second season with Inter after moving there from AC Milan and it ended up being a pretty good one. The summer transfers were pretty straight forward - sold my first choice left back, a central midfielder and a young player and bought a left back, a central midfielder and a young player. Tripaldelli was put in the transfer list and with him being Italian and more capable going forward than Boscagli + knowing I could get more for him as Leicester were interested and his value was pretty high, I decided to do the exchange. Rodrigo is an extremely promising Brasilian regen and I immediately went for him as I didn't have a second defensively solid midfielder. At the same time I let Maggiore go as he wasn't going to get a lot of first team football and the little he could, I'd prefer to go to younger players. And Pedro Mota is a wonderkid CB who I got on a free as his contract with Benfica was expiring and immediately sent him on loan to get some Serie A experience. Alberto Tenconi is a very promising young striker who I sold to Chelsea. Has the potential to become a great player but simply not the kind of striker I'd like as he's both extremely slow and not good in the air. And I already had other young strikers ready for some first team appearances. In the winter I also sold Dimarco after receiving a very good offer from Chelsea. We won all domestic competitions and also got the Europa League after failing to get past the group stage in the CL. In Serie A we had a comfortable 3-5 point lead through pretty much the whole season although Milan did well to keep the pressure until the end. In the Super Cup game against Napoli we conceded first but managed to score one back to get things to added time and then finished them. In the cup final we faced Napoli again and once again they got the lead but a late goal saved us and we, again, grabbed the trophy in the added time. In the Champions League we failed in the group stage as I already mentioned after Sporting scoring in the 91st minute to get a win against Leipzig and get the second place in the last game. I was wathing the score during our whole game and until the end was 0-0. I finished the match happy and then my heart broke when I saw 1-0 in the reports. We did win the Europa League very convincingly though, getting past every tie including the final with at least 3 goals lead. Esposito was by far our best player. 43 goals and 10 assists in 45 games, absolutely insane. Jeremie Frimpong was also faultless at right back. I was considering replacing him because of his passing but he's doing great anyway, put in some very good numbers and scored a key goal in the Italian cup final. Sensi and Barella had a great partnership in midfield and same can be said about Bastoni and Skriniar in defense.
XuluBak
I have inexplicably lost interest in my save. Had a busier summer than anticipated, largely due to unsolicited offers that were too good to refuse (or negotiate), and I couldn't be happier with how that reinvestment has turned out. I got to early October, with more draws than I'd like, but still haven't lost, and we're currently 4th in Serie A and almost certainly through to Europa Conference League knockout rounds, so things are going fairly well... I've just lost interest. No real reason. This just seems to happen sometimes. Bleh.
john1
Forgot to update my season! Went the season unbeaten and won 3-0 in the Coppa Italia Final against Roma. Sadly youth intakes was absolutely poor so I decided to sack Nuno Gomes and brought this guy in. Getting quite frustrated now in Champions League, seems to go out in Knockout round every year I wouldn't be surprised if we get Dortmund in Knockout stages if we do get there 3 hours ago, XuluBak said: I have inexplicably lost interest in my save. XuluBak
Just lost our first match of the 2022-23 season, 1-0 away to Sevilla, in the final group stage match of the Europa Conference League (and our last before the WC break), Could have pushed harder for the equalizer, but that result was good enough to win the group, so played for the bigger picture. We're currently in UCL contention, 4 points off Inter at the top, largely riding a dominant defense. Our league schedule lined up pretty favorably to start, so we'll have to find more consistency going forward to hold onto it.
