KBK909
A quick note before i begin.... Comments are welcome! This is my first story so dont be harsh. The Life of A football Manager. By Kieran-Ben Kelly. I used to watch my Dad play every Saturday For BrantWood, I would tell him after every match "That was a great Match!" even on the occasions they lost. One day though, Brantwood got into the Antrim Cup final against Moyola Park. We got the early advantage from my Dad, Darren Kelly. Moyola Park then equalised with an outstanding Volley from outside the box. The match went on to extra time and Brantwood got a penalty on the 118th minute, My Father was asked to take it. He scored, placing the ball in the left hand corner. A minute later the whistle went and Brantwood won the cup. Moyola park were outraged at the penalty decision. Then, on Wednesday afternoon, My mother, Rachel got a call from the police saying my Dad had been assualted by Moyola Fans during a training session. We went to the hospital to visit him. He was In a Coma, I was told he was sleeping. On his leg weas a note saying "Son, Incase i dont make it, Do me a favour, Play for Brantwood." I did what he said and 10 years later i became thier Manager. TBC.
tompy100
Fair do's for fulfilling your da's wish. Just to prove the mentality of local football, I was playing against sport and leisure when a man ran onto the pitch with a gun! Luckily the gun jammed.
