Spike
I know there is already a “Transfer Kitty” thread where you can request a transfer budget for a specific club, so I thought I would go a step further and make a list of the transfer budgets for each league starting with those listed below. If you would like any leagues added let me know and I’ll see what I can do. These budgets are in British Pounds Sterling, and as far as I can tell the exchange rate on Football Manager 2009 seems to be 1.25euros to the £. The budgets are based on the board’s expectations for that particular club: Argentina – Primera Division Argentinos Juniors – £525k (Top half finish) Arsenal de Sarandi – £525k (Mid-table finish) Banfield – £800k (Mid-table finish) Boca Juniors – £5.25m (Winner) Central – £1.1m (Mid-table finish) Colon – £1.1m (Mid-table finish) Estudiantes (LP) – £1.1m (Continental qualification through league finish) Gimnasia (J) – £210k (Consolidate) Gimnasia (LP) – £1.1m (Consolidate) Godoy Cruz – £210k (Consolidate) Huracan – £525k (Top half finish) Independiente – £2.1m (Continental qualification through league finish) Lanus – £800k (Top half finish) Newell’s – £1.1m (Top half finish) Racing Club – £2.1m (Mid-table finish) River – £5.25m (Winner) San Lorenzo – £1.6m (Continental qualification through league finish) San Martin (T) – £55k (Consolidate) Tigre – £210k (Mid-table finish) Velez – £1.3m (Continental qualification through league finish) Belgium – Belgian First Division AA Gent – £375k (Continental qualification through league finish) Anderlecht – £1.6m (Title challenge) Cercle Brugge – £140k (Continental qualification through league finish) Charleroi – £350k (Top half finish) Club Brugge – £800k (Title challenge) FCV Dender – £130k (Avoid relegation) Genk – £700k (Continental qualification through league finish) Germinal Beerschot – £350k (Continental qualification through league finish) KV Kortrijk – £40k (Avoid relegation) KV Mechelen – £190k (Mid-table finish) Lokeren – £230k (Mid-table finish) Mons – £250k (Avoid relegation) Mouscron – £350k (Mid-table finish) Roeselare – £180k (Avoid relegation) Standard – £650k (Title challenge) Tubize – £26k (Avoid relegation) Westerlo – £190k (Mid-table finish) Zulte Waregem – £230k (Top half finish) Brazil – Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A Atletico Mineiro – £80k (Top half finish) Atletico Paranaense – £95k (Avoid relegation) Botafogo – £16k (Top half finish) Coritiba – £30k (Avoid relegation) Cruzeiro – £300k (Top half finish) Figueirense – £16k (Avoid relegation) Flamengo – £300k (Top half finish) Fluminense – £475k (Top half finish) Goias – £30k (Attempt to avoid relegation) Gremio – £160k (Top half finish) Internacional – £220k (Top half finish) Ipatinga – Nil (Attempt to avoid relegation) Nautico – £24k (Attempt to avoid relegation) Palmeiras – £725k (Top half finish) Portuguesa – Nil (Attempt to avoid relegation) Santos – £160k (Top half finish) Sao Paulo – £725k (Winner) Sport Recife – £24k (Avoid relegation) Vasco – £16k (Top half finish) Vitoria – £16k (Attempt to avoid relegation) England – Barclays Premier League Arsenal – £38m (Title challenge) Aston Villa – £5m (Top half finish) Blackburn Rovers – £11.5m (Top half finish) Bolton Wanderers – £5m (Avoid relegation) Chelsea – £30m (Title challenge) Everton – £1m (Top half finish) Fulham – £2.5m (Attempt to avoid relegation) Hull City – £3m (Attempt to avoid relegation) Liverpool – £3.8m (Continental qualification through league finish) Manchester City – £55m (Top half finish) Manchester United – £10m (Title challenge) Middlesbrough – £10m (Mid-table finish) Newcastle United – £4.3m (Top half finish) Portsmouth – Nil (Top half finish) Stoke City – £4.3m (Attempt to avoid relegation) Sunderland – £2m (Avoid relegation) Tottenham Hotspur – £27m (Top half finish) West Bromwich Albion – £6.25m (Avoid relegation) West Ham United – £1m (Top half finish) Wigan Athletic – £2m (Avoid relegation) England – Coca-Cola Championship Barnsley – £800k (Avoid relegation) Birmingham City – £3m (Promotion) Blackpool – £300k (Attempt to avoid relegation) Bristol City– £1.4m (Playoffs*) Burnley – £600k (Consolidate) Cardiff – £1m (Top half finish) Charlton – Nil (Top half finish) Coventry – £1.5m (Avoid relegation) Crystal Palace – £2.5m (Playoffs*) Derby – £3m (Playoffs*) Doncaster – £300k (Attempt to avoid relegation) Ipswich – £4.8m (Top half finish) Norwich – £500k (Mid-table finish) Nottingham Forest – £250k (Mid-table finish) Plymouth – £1.5m (Mid-table finish) Preston – £1m (Mid-table finish) Q.P.R. – £9m (Mid-table finish) Reading – £9m (Playoffs*) Sheffield Utd – £4m (Top half finish) Sheffield Wed – £300k (Mid-table finish) Southampton – Nil (Consolidate) Swansea – £800k (Avoid relegation) Watford – £150k (Playoffs*) Wolves – £6.5m (Playoffs*) * please note that those teams where the board expectation is to reach the playoffs, you are unable to adjust the transfer budget.
