GreatestFM Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 Ok, I had an injury crisis in pre-season as man utd............Rooney was out for 5months, Berbertov was out for 2Months and Tevez had just got injured for 1 so i thought..........DAMN who can i buy who is cheap and good...........obviously Emile Heskey didnt come to mind but me and a mate have a laugh over Emile Heskey so i thought why not, itll be a laugh.... made a bid of £4million and they accepted...obviosly he accepted me and he was "please to get a chance at the top level at the end of his playing days" He was a great player for me and now a Man Utd legend in my eyes.......he would score about once in every 3 games but it was as a sub or the holding attacker which he shone, he always got the goals in the important games and i would recommend him for a cheap/ backup striker!
