Sharkn20
By playing games together and not have any in / outs in the transfer market. Trial players rest cohesion, so no more trial exploit rather than scoutong players in FM20 which is brilliant.
dubaRA7
add: teamwork, match tactics and most importantly match practise training sessions in your training schedule and in few weeks it will become good team cohesion. For Excellent cohesion you need your players to play with each other for a couple of seasons. MrFridriksson
In FM22 (which might be a totally different animal to FM20), the Team Cohesion has been stuck for me at Average for some time now but it has been moving slowly upwards, like other stats between me and the players. I like a challenge and took on Swindon Town which has a transfer embargo for the 1st year. That means I can only sell players but not bring in any in, irrespective if it is a loan or buy. It is extremely challenging especially when you play on the lowest individual level (Sunday league footballer and no license). The players take time to get used to you and the tactics and there are few guys who are not buying it and they happen to be the best players. Back to the point of Team Cohesion. In this case, I cannot afford to not play them and add youngsters into the mix and it is going well for me at the moment after 7 games on top in division 2 and all the negative stats are turning slowly around (Touch wood), even the Team Cohesion. As people have said earlier in this post, this takes time and it all depends on what kind of characters you got in the squad which determines how quickly you turn things around. Players need to play together for this to happen and try to figure out your core 10-13 players (+ youngsters) to take the club forward is very wise. This transfers equally in FM20 as in FM22 although the latter is more into depth with everything. Good luck!
