diMari
I have ARIS from Greece and I am on year 2033 curently. The greek football is mediocre at best and while my team is OP with top players, the others kinda, don't. My problem is,I have extremely creative players, good passers at mc and amc and good crossers at wide positions and my striker has 19 off the ball with every physical being 16+ and move into channels as trait, who actually kinda sits still... The thing is,my crosses will stop at the first defender, even if I have space for something better and they just wont pass the ball into the box. I've tried work into box,hit early crosses, high tempo, low tempo, hold shape... nothing and cant really drop my defensive lines deep and go for a counter cause the opponent will always park the bus and even if they dont,my defenders and bwm are far better than their attackers and I just instantly win the ball back. How can I get the ball to the box more? He is actually leading the scoring charts, mainly with headers, when the crosses connect. He plays as advanced forward and sometimes complete forward, but lately I've tried everything hoping he can get the ball. At some point I even put him as shadow striker without a cf,or put my advanced playmaker as deep-lying forward hoping it would get me some passes in there. Welshace
players crossing when they should instead of shooting all the time is an issue with the current match engine.. Have you tried the new public beta that's out? it has massively improved this..
diMari
I am playing fm19 actually. It's not that they should be shooting, they just fail miserably at crossing. Last mast I had 5% cross completion. My 17 crossing winger, had 0%! I mean he also has 16 dribbling, and not once he has dribbled someone, while the opponent's 9dribbling dr is playing like messi..
