Big clubs have a lot of staff. But smaller clubs only have a few. Every FM-player wants to be able to recognize his club in the game. Therefore it's great that even little clubs have real staff names and matches real life.

Credits to SI as it's fun recognising your own team. But as little clubs have little staff,  the teammanagers (don't know what the English term is for this function)  are often added as coach to give the staff some body. While in Holland a person with the function teammanager organises all things outside the pitch like housing of players, traveling (arranging flying tickets & hotels), trainingsaccomodation, deal with personal problems that players encounter outside football.

He's a Trusted Person for players.

They do fullfill a very important role within a team but have absolutely no influence on training. They offcourse have influence on the mental state of the player and by solving problems/ helping (foreign) players they are less concerned and more focussed which should result in better performances.

I suggest adding a new role "Teammanager" with matching attributes like communicating, organizing, empathy, liability, etc.

This way they are in a realistic way part of the game and people can still indentify themselves with the club they are playing with.

Definition teammanager in Holland:
The teammanager is the spider in the web of all activities related to the first team. He makes sure that the head trainer, the assistant trainer, the medical staff and the players can fully focus on playing football and that all additional matters are effectively arranged. The team manager creates an optimal environment so that the trainer, the assistant trainer, the medical staff and the players can get the most out of themselves during training sessions and competitions
