When i look at the records at a club, there ara a few ways you can inteperate them. There should be a more defining description to explain what is precisely meant by the record.  This applys to pre-editor  and ingame also.

Could you answer my questions. I will mention the suggestions in the Feature request section of the forum.

In Holland, the first competition was organized in 1865 and the first real club was established ten years later. The dutch national football Association (KNVB) was founded in 1889. In 1904, the federation joined FIFA.
Professional football was introduced in the Netherlands in 1954. From 1984 until 1854 there where national leagues but players didn't receive any form of salary untill 1954. Does this mean that all records form before this period may not be used? I'd like to get this clear!

These records could be explained a little bit more:
biggest win-> suggestion: biggest win in an official match (this includes all leaguematches, cupmatches and european matches. Friendly's are excluded)
biggest defeat->suggestion: biggest defeat in an official match (this includes all leaguematches, cupmatches and european matches. Friendly's are excluded)
highest scoring match -> suggestion:  highest score in an official match (this includes all leaguematches, cupmatches and european matches. Friendly's are excluded)

Is it an idea to split this in (or add) seperate records?

So you have highest scoring league match and highest scoring cup game and highest scoring european match? You can even go further and make difference between home and away games. so you'll have the record Biggest win at away game in league.

Highest scoring league match:  this one is very clear! No problems with this record.

These records are the worst because there are many ways tio interpretate them:

  • Most matches won and lost in a row- > whats meant by this?  Within a calanderyear or within in a season? Or even transcending a calenderyear or season? Does it apply on league matches only or all official matches?
  • Most matches without losing/ winning/scoring/conceding -> these do not have to be consecutive matches? Does it apply on one season only or may it be transcending a season? Does it apply on league matches only or all official matches (including european, cup, etc.)?
  • Most clean sheets by a player in a season -> Do they have to be consecutive games? Does it apply on leaguematches only or all official matches (including cup and European)?

These records could be explained a little bit more:
youngest player -> suggestion: youngest player to debut in an official match (friendly's not included)
oldest player -> suggestion: oldest player to play in an official match (friendly's not included)

suggestions to add:

  • most consecutive homegames won in league  (can transcend one season)
  • most consecutive away games won in league  (can transcend one season)
  • most teamgoals scored in one season
  • most teamgoals conceded in one season
  • goalkeeper with most consecutive clean sheets in league in one season (in minutes!).
  • goalkeeper with most consecutive clean sheets overall (transcending a season)  (in minutes!).  (this includes all leaguematches, cupmatches and european matches. Friendly's are excluded)
  • player with most consecutive matches scored
  • youngest player to score at debut game
  • most overall apps by foreign player (transcending a season)
  • most overall goals by foreign player (transcending  a season)
  • player with most goals in european matches (qualyfying rounds included)
  • player with most substitions (coming on pitch)
  • player who's been most substitued (going out of pitch)
  • playr with most own goals overall (this includes all leaguematches, cupmatches and european matches. Friendly's are excluded)
  • player with most hattricks  (this includes all leaguematches, cupmatches and european matches. Friendly's are excluded)
