Crap attributes - Incredible Performers

I've always loved (the very rare occasion) that I play someone who looks utterly awful on paper, but gets consistently amazing high ratings, putting in incredible performances.

I was wondering if anyone had any stories about players of this nature.

A diamond in the rough.

I've never had him, but I've seen Thomas Amang causing some damage on a few saves of mine.

Dont have a screenshot atm, but I guess he has no technical attributes higher than 10. Physically he seems to be a beast, though.

Mate I had a Darlington save which was full of useless crap that nobody else wanted or looked at. Basically just Sunderlands rejects because of an affiliate link with players like Jack Diamond. Absolute sensational legend for me always 10+ goals even 10+  assists some seasons and entertaining player but the downside was, Darlington are skint and I would love to have sold a bunch of players I had like that but I couldn't because they were actually rubbish. I even had him on long term deal and his value still stayed really low despite being 1 of the best in the league. A lot of pros and cons to these kind of players but very enjoyable and satisfying to being able to get the most out of them.

I'm managing Toulouse and we are one of the best teams in the world. I have a senior central midfielder who is much worse than anyone else on paper but has always been reliable. He is team ethical, does the simple things and spreads the play. I start him about 20 times a season because I just need someone doing what he does and it brings my other players into the game.

You quite often get players who are all round pretty good (so lots of 12s and 13s for stuff) but then also have good work rate, stamina, determination and hidden stats like consistency and big match ability.

Also I think people often under rate either footed players for central roles, someone either footed with lots of technicals in the 13-15 range, can often do as well as someone with like 15-17s but is one foot only from my experience.
