Expected goals and Expected assists (xG and xA etc.), in particular? xG is becoming very important, it helps to analyse players' performance much better. For example, it is the best way to scout goalkeepers. Sometimes playmakers without proper striker lose their assist numbers, and so on. As far as I understand, FM right now has only Goals, Assists, Save percentage and other simple metrics, which restrict and simplify scouting and analysis a lot.
