Russiandude Posted April 8, 2020 Share Posted April 8, 2020 (edited) Post season team talks forces managers to tell players that he's going to bring new players or keep the current players on top of the expectation for the league. In england that's one month before transfer window and god knows what will happen especially with players already wanting to leave to bigger club. Even if you want to keep them you'll have to sign a replacement if one leave and another player who got promised to not get replaced might get pissy even though it's not his replacement.
