dejarik
Hello everyone! I'm struggling to understand which parts of the scouting report I should pay more attention to when it comes to player potential - especially stars vs. the actual words. Potential ability is found three places - in the "Potential Ability" stars, in the words of the Recommendation and (sometimes) in the Observations. Look at this report: If he has the potential to be a Premier League player, does that mean that his actual "stars" are more like 3,5 than 2,5? Compare to this one: This player also "has the potential to be a Premier Player in the future". Same here, but it's a "decent Premier League player". Also - what does "could improve a lot" mean? For players with a high current ability, it seems that potential ability isn't mentioned in the summary. Examples: With regards to my own players - do you know what the logic is between these examples? Do you know what the words correspond to in actual PA? Currently operating at an Championship level - Potential to be a PL (Premier League) right winger in the future (CA 3 stars, PA 4,5 stars inc. one black star) Good player for most Championship sides - Potential to be a good PL player in the future (CA 2,5 stars, PA 3,5 stars) Currently operating at a PL level - Could improve a lot in the future Currently operating at a PL level - Could improve by a slight amount in the future (CA 3.5 stars, PA 4.5 stars inc. one black star) Decent player for most PL sides - Potential to be a good PL striker in the future (CA 3 stars, PA 3,5 stars)
