Second season struggles. Confused.

So i finish 2nd in my first season with Schalke, should have won the league.

Second season, i splash the cash. I had a budget of i think 38m possibly and i sold a total worth of £66m, spent £70m.

I've improved where i feel was necessary, better wingers, better CB, replaced my Defensive midfielder and then bought a better BTB midfielder.

So the season starts, and yet we're playing dreadful, possession so low, struggling to create chances. This seems to happen to me a lot, especially second season. Any reason why?

Very much needed. Because without taking a look at your tactic, how are we supposed to figure out where the problem potentially is?

Apologies in the delay. I'm not the best regarding tactics etc. It was just something i made and seemed to work 1st season.

Well, there are things in your tactic I would definitely change/tweak. But at the same time, I noticed in the screenshot that you are top of the table. So why would you want to change a tactic that actually works - at least for now?
