With 4 games left this is how it looks! A big win over Birmingham moved us above them but we drew our next game! Thankfully Birmingham lost and we have a 3 point buffer with a much superior goal difference!

Game 43

image.thumb.png.31d6dfa016781b5daa788f0a55e8caa0.png

Ourselves and Birmingham both draw whilst Leeds conceded 2 goals in 2 minutes and fell to defeat at Brentford. That leaves the league table as follows!

image.thumb.png.1a9ca45f4e4ddf2cb94e07f9cdb778b6.png

2 points separates us from Leeds whilst we maintain our 3 point buffer over Birmingham!

Game 44

We have 13th place Barnsley at home whilst Birmingham host 9th place Swansea. Leeds have a later kick off at home to 18th placed Hull.

Results

Birmingham win 1-0, whereas we draw our 3rd game in the bounce with a disappointing 1-1 draw. Leeds had the chance to all but wrap top the title but they laboured to a 1-1 draw also!

Very tight now, what I hadn't noticed is Forest have snuck quietly up on 81 points!

Game 45

We travel to 12th place Reading with a depleted squad of injuries and also players in need of a rest. Birmingham travel to already relegated Huddersfield who only have 26pts all season! Leeds travel to 13th placed Barnsley in a Yorkshire derby!

Results

image.thumb.png.a15355eb865fc852cfa8cea35cd821a4.png

What a massive day this could turn out to be. We beat Reading 3-2 in a thrilling game whilst Barnsley hold Leeds to a 2-2 draw and Huddersfield of all teams beat a badly out of form Birmingham team. The result you can't see on here is Forest beat Stoke 3-2 meaning the table looks like...

League Table

image.thumb.png.27d869ed635b015c6c148c7cd7a7bcab.png

Birmingham are now out of automatic promotion contention and Forest need both ourselves and Leeds to lose for them to have a chance of going up. We only need a point!

Game 46

The biggest game in Lowestoft's history, we will play 9th placed Swansea at home. In the reverse fixture we beat them 3-2. Leeds will play Southampton at home. In their reverse fixture it was a 1-1 draw. Finally Forest are away to 20th placed Charlton and in that reverse fixture they won the game 2-0.

Forest win a hard fought game away at Charlton, meaning they have done all they can!

image.thumb.png.948d8d81bf3f321361bdc379cf955025.png

An unbelievable performance by "dirty" Leeds. 1-0 they went down to 10 men before half time and on the 68th minute down to 9 men. They managed to hold on meaning they are up!

image.thumb.png.53f82bc306ae9f6cee8a81bb7d9f9955.png

WHAT A GAME! We were much the better team however Swansea dug in and kept getting goals to put us under pressure but we managed to hold on!

End Of Season

Awards

image.thumb.png.e7c5012db0b7f1f0dff841e006e83db7.png

Madden wins player of the season. We have managed to lock him down to a new contract which upped his release clause to 10m from 1.5m. Johnson probably would have won bar his 3 month injury during middle of the season. McDonald winning signing of the season. Unfortunately a few injuries also limited him to not as many appearances as I would have liked.

image.thumb.png.7d45f88bab9d43518cdcee9aa1e16c11.png

Sergio sets a new assists record. Unfortunately Nice are planning on using him next season so we cannot get him back. We did manage to get Johnson back and we don't have to cover any wages for him which is great.

We are moving to Carrow Road next season due to our ground not meeting Premier League requirements. Still no mention of the new stadium yet.

Transfers Summer 2030 Part 1

Transfers Out

image.thumb.png.9718f0fdd38268b9759b0c2592f02a2d.png

Got to love the overvalued English players! First off all the loans went out to try and develop them a bit further. I dont think many will make it at the club but we should sell for a profit. Rubio was an agreed fee as part of his loan last season and Gerli wasn't good enough and on quite big wages so was sold. Bent was no longer required and went to now League 1 Huddersfield. Now the bigger fees, Bell I didn't want to sell, he came into our team in 2nd half of last season and was outstanding but his release fee was met. Johnson I also would have liked to keep as a solid right back backup however we simply couldn't turn down that type of money. Jackson was similar to Johnson in that I liked that he covered anywhere on left hand side but that is really good money for us. Ciraci is the one I really didn't want to lose, he played most games last season and had 5 star potential for us but once again his release fee was met.

McCulloch was agreed a couple of seasons back. A small fee and decent potential! Skrgic is another brought in for next to nothing and has big potential. Will let him develop for a couple of years and maybe a loan or 2. Eichner is the closest of these bunch to the first team. He already has solid stats for an 18 year old! Sendall and Lorusso both come on frees with big potential. Lorusso is back out on loan and I am trying to do the same with Sendall.

Loans

image.thumb.png.9b6627f6f33f597a065d9f331d88e8e8.pngimage.thumb.png.172c1b32c726c8405a62ce86e0db8e95.pngimage.thumb.png.f623d5d00420ae0f5eb8288a9bc22e72.pngimage.thumb.png.49e1de136672be722c1cf14773289fc3.pngimage.thumb.png.64d73e328f10e7ab7e30616a394aded2.png

I think I have probably went a bit overboard in centre mid. Both Arlen and Barthelmy have agreed fees (3.6m and 1.6m respectively). Arlen training for that deep lying role as well and they provide good options for the midfield. Edvardsen is a great addition for the wings where we have been notoriously short. Krimphove will be utilised mainly on the wings (being trained to play on right as well) but another fantastic loan signing. Mascolo is a great young star in the rising, he will be brought in and used in rotation for that right back spot.

First team squad players transfer in part 2!

Transfers Part 2 (Squad Players)

Gustafsson comes in for a great fee. Only 18 and already 3 star potential he is going to be here for a long time! Abad came in on a free and will provide backup on the left hand side. A good squad player to have! Kastrati is a great free transfer signing, he will be one of our starting deep lying midfielders, really like the look of him. Quintero is something a bit different, more of a get stuck in type of midfielder that we can bring on when the going is getting tough! Kohkman is another great signing which was cheap, he will be utilised in rotation along with the other centre midfielders! Guyon was the biggest transfer in our history at the time. Really good stats and potential, love the look of him. Hak-Soo comes in from Korea where we immediately got the message about the boosting of merchandise! Another fantastic prospect for us! Ferreira was brought in on a free to over cover at the full back area, he won't be utilised barring any major injury crisis. Fisher and Scott are both experienced English defenders who cover all areas at the back, like the look of both of them!

The Star (I hope)

I thought we were short up top that 1 quality striker. I  went and searched through Brazil and found Henrique, there was already a bid of £13m for him so we usurped them with a £15m offer and had to shift about some budgets but we got our man!

image.thumb.png.6b1262df12e5c402b085814356dca3dd.png

Really like the look of him and hope he and Johnson can fire the goals in to keep us up!

Hak-Soo and Gray are going out for their development whereas Ferreira will be sold at end of the season as he wanted more game time. Out of the money sales Abad through the head up when I signed Scott and wanted to leave pretty much from the start of the season. Kelly has been great for us but simply isn't cut out for this level. Madden I knew we would eventually lose, managed to be crafty and up them to just below his minimum release fee then pop an add on on! He has been great for us!

Training

This season after reading some articles I decided to take over training as I didn't think my players where developing quite as I hoped. I am utilising the FM Scout recommendations of getting good personality staff in and adjusting training based on condition and the amount of games per week.

No Games

image.thumb.png.58ff80c84aec9d7f948338611dfd84fd.png

Much more training sessions planned in this week, these are normally for those international breaks where some players don't leave.

1 Game

image.thumb.png.904743fae74757069a6864f42a29ad8d.png

Once again compared to normal training if left to the assistant we are doing more sessions but obviously with a bit of recovery around the match.

2 Games

image.thumb.png.860b5ad807e76fd2f6d1871fc8212705.png

Obviously in a 2 game week there are a lot fewer sessions and we need to stay fit.

Observations

I have definitely noticed training becoming a lot better with much higher scores in ratings on the monthly report and only really those players who want to leave performing poorly. I will use Stewart as an example. Bought from the Northern Irish league, a league with a very small reputation costing a paltry £10k. When joining he had the potential to be a Championship player and nothing more. And this was still the case when I switched the training at start of the season.

image.thumb.png.eb44656eba3d5bc9144f7f0978723903.png

Stewart really has come on quite nicely and is improving in those areas that were weaknesses previously. This is his attribute changes in past 12 months.

image.thumb.png.46c4398c038379b8f5ad22a5f6689631.png

He is now valued at over £15m and the potential to be a good premier league striker in the future.

Going great guns with Lowestoft. That was a thrilling end to the Championship season and you have more than consolidated in the Premier League. I'll be interested to see how you handle the next phase in getting the club to compete for Europe qualification but it looks good so far and you've made some excellent signings.

What's happening with the new stadium? Will you be spending another season at Carrow Road?

Yes its been a challenging but fun window so far. Leicester have stolen both our starting centre midfield players on their release fees but we have brought in some good quality. Once centre back who didn't get a work permit is going to be a star for us, I hope he can get one soon.

In terms of stadium still no news whatsoever so I assume we are at Carrow Road again!

6 players go out on loan, 5 for development and Ferreira to get him off the wage this season as no one would buy him. McCulloch and Daglish weren't developing the way I wanted so they both wanted to go. Viking Jimbo was agreed from last season and he left on a free. Kokhman and Quintero I didn't want to lose but minimum release fees where met. Barthalemy and Arlen were both pre-agreed signings from their loans but with the signings I made they were no longer required so both where sold. Scott I think I probably should have kept in the end as it wasn't a great price to get for him. Fisher was great to have as he covered the whole defence but we have upgraded at left back so we used the money for that upgrade. Guyon is the one I didn't want to leave however he threw the head up when I turned down a bid from Augsburg so was sold as well.

I am going to do a full squad review so I will only show those prospects we have signed!

Torres is a young centre back with the potential to be a premier league defender! Kerslake is a young keeper with good potential as well!

Squad Review Part 1

Goalkeepers

image.thumb.png.83fcbb0207c2078be95d7cfe4b5b896f.pngimage.thumb.png.c6a9824b739931cb3a8281ca36c8dbcc.png

Both the keepers are new this season and it was a place where we struggled. I did have a deal for a Brazilian keeper but couldn't get the funds in the end. Dabo was my backup and is a solid keeper with room to improve. Is definitely an upgrade on last season. Albi will be the backup goalkeeper. Young and still a lot of potential as well!

Fullbacks

image.thumb.png.ff1cf966077d6887e31ca7a49e4b7382.pngimage.thumb.png.255a00683ffb3842852ab6fe96f26e9b.pngimage.thumb.png.419d50a44606502bde7fd07142874a93.pngimage.thumb.png.4c37ad245a3b1b4a71dab12398f74823.png

Scavo joins from Hearts for £18m and is labelled a wondered! Really like the look of him and a massive upgrade on last season. Mascolo rejoins on loan again from Inter and will be out starting full back. Rooney was a great cheap signing from Leicester and offers cover on both sides as well as massive potential! McDonald is normally a centre half but will be our backup left back this season.

Centre Backs

image.thumb.png.6c5acdaf207ea0ec7f95c0df819d1dba.pngimage.thumb.png.f389b94f17433a3c1cde8b000d98ddd9.pngimage.thumb.png.4264848410e70eaf933612e9905e8ece.pngimage.thumb.png.211696372d8f14a5dfa98f5780601ea0.png

Miguel I am gutted about as he didn't get his work permit, I will try again in October as he looks like an absolute beast! Munoz was a cheap centre half signing and was meant to be backup but he may start now until Miguel gets his work permit. Stevens is another cracking young signing with massive potential. He will play a lot as rotation this season. Lally is our best centre half and will be our captain again this season!

Squad Review Part 2

Centre Midfield

image.thumb.png.9948c24bd38de0e9bd33cae3e589090a.pngimage.thumb.png.42d2c9d965c8942ce4a090d563a93ec0.pngimage.thumb.png.59e8878c6145d5d6a99530b502d4db1a.pngimage.thumb.png.ed4ae163f3880abf562c264807af056a.pngimage.thumb.png.595b5b9740ce2a5f70cb4922e98a4913.pngimage.thumb.png.da31bb173e964ec3135a44cbe13e6a7d.png

Once again too many players here. I am trying to get rid of Kastrati now as he didn't overly impress last season. Cancela is one for the future but I will try and get him as many games as possible this season in the cups. Abella was a great free transfer signing and will be one of our starters. Serik was another fantastic free transfer and will get quite a few games this season. Lockyer I like simply because he plays a lot of positions, great to have on the bench and is a very solid player! Drommel is the last player, I think I will be starting him and Abella to start with but we do have good options!

Wingers

image.thumb.png.c8bc180bdc9024f04ece6c64ca387e96.pngimage.thumb.png.4a772f232ca8da41ac4ae42f403a0995.pngimage.thumb.png.a17a81bbe6ddc2acaa1d20fb7c629377.pngimage.thumb.png.43b511663f610cdb5ee7d5560bc7de97.pngimage.thumb.png.816d2153937168b7a46eed45a23141c7.png

Hendry was another great free transfer previously of Spurs. Young, English and a lot of potential which is good! Johnston comes in on loan again for no wages! He will be utilised on the wing with his pace this season rather than up top. Ferran is the star loan this season although we are definitely overpaying! He is our best player so lets hope he can deliver! Edvardsen we managed to get again on loan, he was fantastic last season and is a welcome addition again. Diaz I will utilise more on the wing but he can play in the middle as well.

Strikers

image.thumb.png.af3f2ee290dfbf7d4c1a1f3e779b02a5.pngimage.thumb.png.e6ec2986519c253f1bd6e9de2217186d.pngimage.thumb.png.5f29b56f96da375688ca3aace0ce8b3a.pngimage.thumb.png.4d3fc8a7e296f06277844e1eb228af3f.png

We have 4 solid strikers now which is good. Stewart has been fantastic for us and is always a good option up top! Sanchez is a great striker and he really hit form after we signed him in January, is probably our number 1 striker currently. Henrique has dropped slightly in potential but is still a really solid striker. Edson was another Brazilian I decided to bring in, already solid stats with a lot of room to grow!

A solid start to the season, we were unlucky not to get a point at Chelsea. Good wins over Brighton and Leicester (former player Kokhman was sent off) before a massive win over Utd at home! Disappointing that our 2nd string got knocked out of the Carabao Cup as it could have been a good route to Europe!

League Table

This we really need to start moving, I really want to develop youth in this save but our lack of facilities and a really stubborn chairman in the past meant we weren't able to increase this. So fingers crossed we can move this much quicker now!

September & October 2031

Sorry my images got corrupted for September so having to do 2 months at once!

Results

image.thumb.png.ff828488dcf0c8a9c31b9151043fe0d6.png

An amazing couple of months. My biggest rivals on the game so far Spurs where beaten and we deserved the win. West Brom and West Ham wins where comfortable. Norwich away we deserved the win but couldn't find that 2nd goal. Arsenal and Liverpool both should have beaten us but we managed to pick up a point against the Gunners and get a snatch and grab at Anfield!

League Table

image.thumb.png.c45a31a62da78e0a0552327a313aa8a8.png

We are somehow top! I dont expect it to last as apart from the Spurs game all the bigger teams have battered us although we have picked up points against them. If we could get into Europe this season that would be massive!

Players Of The Month

I picked 3 players for the 2 months. Ferran has been fantastic, he missed a few weeks but has came back with a bang! Henrique came back in due to Sanchez's injury and has 4 goals now. Edson has also fitted in right away with 6 goals already this season!

Mixed month, we were unlucky at Boro and got a beating at City. Wins over Sheff Utd and Palace at home keep us going in the league though!

League Table

As expected we start to drop down, the gap between us and 8th spot is what I will keeping an eye on, currently 7 points!

Farewell To A Legend

image.thumb.png.3f4d7dc899f1bd2ae0d2cebb9eed1b31.png

Stewart had already agreed to leave the club prior to this game so I decided to give him a well deserved hurrah! And he provided a 2 goal match winning performance. What a man!

He is off to Everton for over £30m (Glenavon in the NI Premiership get nearly £10m of this!) after signing for only £10k.

Well we have been simply brilliant this season (in the league). We have never really went on a run of poor form and have consistently picked up points and wins even if we weren't playing well.

League Table

image.thumb.png.0eee448f6eb427c3433f0441c17a6b9b.png

We have all but qualified for the Champions League which is phenomenal!

Transfers

Out

image.thumb.png.603f0ed764ccc9f1ddd84df23dbc6d01.png

It was a manic Winter transfer window for us. Out went 4 loans for development in Skrgic, Albi, Myers & FaganO'Donnell did well for us in previous seasons in lower leagues. He is off to Italy and more specifically Empoli for 80k. Gustafsson didn't like that I sold Kastrati earlier in the season and wasn't developing like I wanted. Really surprised Utd wanted him and he went out for just under £1m. On to the bigger sales, Stewart we had briefly mentioned before. I would love to have kept him about but he simply isn't as good as our other options currently and overt £30m is a lot of money! Lockyer, Hendry Serik all complained about game time. Lockyer we made nearly £2m in profit in 6 months whereas the others were free transfers in the summer so we made £20m! Hak-Soo got a major injury which hindered his development so when West From offered nearly £20m I couldn't turn it down. Some really good profit here!

Stephan is a potential wonderkid, utilising mainly in the middle currently due to Scavo playing out left. A good addition at just under £13m. Sorensen is a player we badly needed. He is a fantastic centre half and we were really lacking that partner for Lally. Already capped 8 times by Denmark at a young age! El Amri is my favourite signing, after seeing Derby sign a wonderkid from Wyadd I scouted them and found this gem. For 850k he is a bargain and has been solid so far! Vladimir was signed as a backup keeper after Albi was loaned out. Grimes is the potential superstar in this bunch. £30m is a lot of money for us but he is young and pure quality and should be in our team for years to come!

Future Transfers

image.thumb.png.5250d034e643c83e982544d4fcbacaad.pngimage.thumb.png.5f5c56cfdd6181e40a9c6fcda5f7f367.pngimage.thumb.png.c5043ab39d879ae4cd2a712faf51d400.png

The astute of you probably have noticed I decided to scout renowned youth producers Anderlecht. I have decided to sign 3 of them who have great potential. El Amrani was being chased by both City and Chelsea so I probably have overpaid at £9.5m but he should have quality for the future. Dauda is costing £5.5m and once again has big potential. Wauters is the cheapest at £2.4m but my scouts seem to think he has the biggest potential. All 3 join next summer (2033).

End Of Season

image.thumb.png.c962c6541a3c4e370d6525a97e99ce0c.png

No surprise here that Ferran picks up player and young player of the year. He was simply outstanding! Scavo wins goal of the season with a lung busting run and finish! Dago wins signing of the season. He doesn't have massive ability but was very consistent!

image.thumb.png.655fe027d9d55d6888e1f0a4f77e8a6e.png

Ferran also wins players young player of the year in the premier league!

image.thumb.png.5921106126c53ca3b91766f658ae037f.png

2 of our players get into the team of the year. Ferran and Henrique. Henrique has been great this season and is consistently the top performer in training as well!
