Several players with determination drop

I'm having some problems with the determination attribute. I made several signings at the start of the season because the team needed an overhaul.

I tried to hire players with a lot of Determination and I got it – 15 or more. However, 5 players (3 newly hired and 2 who were already part of the team), dropped the attribute by one point. That was quite sudden, about 1 month.

I'm not using the mentoring option yet, so I don't think it's directly related to a player with less Determination that might have influenced them.

There was a problem with the squad because I didn't register a player for the Champions League. But after talking to the squad, things got better. None of the players with a drop in the Determination attribute have that badge "Supporting a player in the team".

I'm a bit upset because I've been actively looking for players with good Determination. What I wanted to know is: will the attribute come back? If so, what can I do to speed up that process?
