Weston Posted May 17, 2020 Share Posted May 17, 2020 VAR comes into play when a foul outside the box might be inside but isn't, or when a penalty is given and is checked and confirmed. I've never seen VAR overrule a ref's decision, or judge an offside call was wrong, for example.
