JWH11 Posted June 1, 2020 Share Posted June 1, 2020 When an agent asks for an improved deal for a player following an impressive performance/greater squad role, you can currently either sack the agent, negotiate the new contract or walk away. I use a DOF to negotiate contracts for me, but this option is always unavailable under the contracts drop-down when this scenario occurs. In order to grant the player a new contract (with the DOF negotiating the amounts) I must reject the request from the agent, and then agree to offer a new contract when the player comes to speak to me immediately after. The issue I have is that my player dropped the concern, and now refuses to sign a new contract based on current transfer interest from other teams. I suggest that when an agent requests an improved deal, you should have an additional 4th option available to select, 'Delegate to Director of Football', similarly to when a transfer offer you personally make is accepted by a club.
