Make experience matter for players! Its not realistic that 20yo kids r winning everything!

What i would like to see is experince matter more.

We see it every yr throughout every sport that players that have been through more important matches are usually the ones winning throphies.

Its too easy on FM for a team built on bunch of 18-21yo kids win everything. Some wonderkids hit their potential very early and that is very unlikely and even if they do they still usually come off 2nd best when it comes to really important games.

I would like to see a stat like match importance start of at 1 and then over time with finals and title deciding matches that it grows. And it should be shown not be hidden so when u r buying a player u can pay a bit extra for experience.

If a group of players have been through a CL final before its just more natural that they would be more likely to win it over a team that has a lot of good young players that havent been there before.

Yes, I share that view. However, it is difficult to determine how much of an influence existing or lacking experience actually has. Sometimes it has an effect, of course, but sometimes not. If you have been in a CL final once, it does not automatically mean that you win the second one because of your previous participation. In opposite, youthful nonchalance can be an advantage.

On the individual level, there is Big Matches as a mental attribute that includes this aspect. However, it is maybe possible that these attributes could be influenced even more by collective factors such as team structure and team experience. Let's say the attributes of the leading players could shape the rest of the team in both directions. An experienced leader who has played big matches at a higher level can compensate a little bit for the mental weaknesses of other players. In other words, leadership in big matches and, more in detail, at crunch time depends on whether such big matches have already been played and successfully completed.

For example, it would then make sense to hire very experienced players, even though Club Vision actually claims to only buy and develop young players. This would then be a good request for the board to exceptionally sign an older player near the end of his career because of the lacking experience of the team.

Should the manager's experience also have an impact?
