St.Dazzle
Just completed the first season with Tottenham using my 4-5-1 tactic from 08. SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted November 21, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted November 21, 2008 Nice solid season imho - probably actually helped by exiting the domestic cups reasonably early ... as it meant fewer games to tire your players out. Good luck next season
O\'Hara_fan
Nice start mate. Can't go wrong than finishing higher than them Gooners. But, not to impressed with that 4-0 defeat
martrayf
Hi, I am Spurs in my first season and playing 4-4-2 attacking and I can't score or win games for toffee. I think I might revert to a 4-5-1. Or Maybe the 4-4-2 diamond. Can you post up your 4-5-1 please St.Dazzle? Thanks

Im no rocket scientist but im guessin 90% of your 29 draws have been 0-0. I have tried your tactic and must admit that the lack of goals puts me off abit, however defensively its solid. Here's the idea, Start each game with St Dazzels 4-5-1 and say at half time you are behind or not creating any chance's, revert to the Bugels433 and subsitute your two wingers for two SC's. This is the system that Chelsea amonst top european teams play, whenever they need goals the attacking wingers move further forward from 451 into a 433 formation. As i mainly play with my 433 i cannot test it as i have no registered wide players at the moment but if anyone would like to try it, it could turn out great! St.Dazzle
I have tried your tactic and must admit that the lack of goals puts me off abit, however defensively its solid. Thanks for trying my tactic. As it was designed for the free scoring FMH08 I didn't expect it to perform as well on FMH09 as it has done. As most teams are struggling to score on FMH09, I'll be releasing my attacking tactic soon!
