FRANCHIS392
If I give a new star player 200k when the average star player wage is 100. Will the other star players ask for parity?

Etebaer
That may or may not happen and you can talk some out of it and others will stay jealous...usually a great Captain prevents me most of the time from it aside of the interaction...
Prepper_Jack
Not necessarily. Players are much more likely to want to renegotiate a contract if there is a large amount of money available in the wage budget. It also depends greatly on personality. A player who has an ambition that greatly outpaces their loyalty will far more frequently wish to better their circumstances, whereas a player with very high loyalty in relation to their ambition will often accept contracts at a much lower value than they are otherwise worth in the league, particularly if they have a very close relation with you. Nacaw
Yes, that is absolutely the case in my experience. Players seem to know what others with the same status are getting paid, and will often want parity. IMO, you should never sign someone as a star player though, maybe in rare case as an important player if they demand it, but nearly everyone should be squad player or first team player. Helps to keep the wages down, and much less complaining when you rotate.
