TerminalPortugal
We leave the club, as we have completed Botswana's objective and the time period required for us to stay in the country. Looking at the node map, We could either move to Zimbabwe or South Africa. Although South Africa makes the most sense to me. Moving to Zimbabwe now would mean going round and then getting stuck in South Africa and needing to play our way through lots of countries we have already completed. If we got to South Africa now and go up the northern loop, then we can pop to Zimbabwe from Zambia and then back, which will mean having to spend another two years in Zambia and another two years in either Angola or Mozambique but that seems better than repeating lots and lots of these Southern African countries. South Africa seems to be destination we want to go next.
TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - Introduction to Club Well we resigned in March and it took quite a while to find a new job, although things worked out just fine. There were South African clubs laughing off our interest all throughout March, April and May. But they got a lot more serious once the season had finished, and we had interest from Ajax Cape Town, Orlando Pirates and Jomo Cosmos as well. Second Division Jomo Cosmos offered us a job first, but with interest and interviews from Premiership clubs we decided to delay. Once Bloemfontein Celtic came in for us, we decided not to tempt fate waiting for anyone else and took the job. So for the next four years we will be in South Africa. The season ended a little while ago and Bloemfontein Celtic finished in 5th, considering they were predicted to finish 7th, that was pretty good going. They sacked their manager Eric Tinkler in February so have been playing better without a manager than with one. This is the player that is supposedly the best player for our side. He looks a player I must say. The squad looks decent if a little bit thin on numbers.
TerminalPortugal
League Changes As we have now moved to South Africa, the leagues changes as per above, Zimbabwe is dropped and Lesotho and eSwatini (Swaziland) are added.
TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - July 2032 We started off our pre-season with some friendlies and have been very good so far. We do have an issue, I have a feeling that a big bug is brewing in South Africa as the league season has no fixtures and it is meant to start in mid-August. If that is the case then we will continue through and see whether it loads the next season. If it doesn't them I going to consider it a bug and consider South Africa complete on a technicality. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - August 2032 South Africa is definately bugged. The league season should have started already but it has not, so we will play it by ear and if it does not fire next season, we will consider South Africa complete. There is some competitive football as the cup competitions are working okay. We have managed to get to the MTN 8 Final beating SuperSport United and Royal Eagles over two legs. As can be seen above from the previous winner screen it appears that the league runs every second season, so I hope it will be back next season. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - October 2032 We skipped September because there was no football to be played with the bugged league season (we will just put it down to some pandemic shall we). But we did capture our first piece of silverware as Bloemfontein Celtic manager with the MTN 8 Cup Final win over Bidvest Wits. We also got through the 1st Round of the Telekom Knockout against Highlands Park.
TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - November 2032 November was all about the Telekom Knockout and we managed to book a place in the final very easily with a 5-1 win over Ajax Cape Town followed up by 5-0 win over Bidvest Wits. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - December 2032 We could not make it a second trophy as we lost the Telekom Knockout to SuperSport United 1-0.
TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - February 2033 No fixtures in January, but we opened up the Nedbank Cup in February and we beat Royal Eagles in the First Round 2-0 to advance to the 2nd Round. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - March 2033 March yielded just one more game as we played Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup 2nd Round and came through 3-0 winners to set up a Quarter Final next month, although we don't know our opponents as yet. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - July 2033 Good news, the league fixtures generated for this season so it looks like we will have a bit more football to play and a league title to attempt to be competitive in. The pre-season has started and we found to routine wins in our first two fixtures.
TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - August 2033 Our defence of the MTN 8 ended at the first hurdle as we lost to Kaizer Chiefs on penalties for the second successive meeting between the sides. Elsewhere we had more friendlies which went more to plan. The league season starts next month and I am anxious to see how we do.

TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - September 2033 We finally get our first taste of South African ABSA Premiership football and it has not been too bad a start from what is a tough set of fixtures, as we beat Bidvest Wits and Golden Arrows, but lost to SuperSport United. We sit 8th, but have a game in hand on most team and we could go as high as 3rd with a win.
TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - October 2033 A month for us as we win both our games. We needed extra time to beat Golden Arrows in the Telekom Knockout, and then we beat Highlands Park 4-1 in the league. This leaves us in 5th place in the league. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - November 2033 We are beginning to find our feet and we had a fine month. We got through to the Telekom Knockout final with a couple of wins in the month. In the league we have had all wins apart from the game against Cape Town City, which we drew. We sit top of the league at the moment, with Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns breathing down our necks.

TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - February 2034 There was no football in January but we were back in February to a very tough run of fixtures, with SuperSport United back to back. We got the better of them in the Nedbank Cup game but lost in the league. That has allowed Bidvest Wits to within a point of us and we play them next away in the league, so things are heating up in the ABSA Premiership. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - March 2034 A good month for us in the title race and we managed to scrape through against Orlando Pirates on penalties in the Nedbank Cup. It is certainly not wrapped up by any means but we are looking confident and I hope we can get over the line as far as the league is concerned. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - April 2034 We started off the month with an absolute shocker as we lost to Highland Parks at home, but we recovered in the Nedbank Cup and beat Ajax Cape Town to make it to the semi finals. In the league our form also recovered and we held our nerve as we strung together 3 wins and a draw to pile the pressure on the chasing pack. At the moment the closest challenger is SuperSport United 5 points back. We also managed to book a place in the Final of the Nedbank Cup with a win over Stellenbosch. Things are going well as we enter May when everything will be decided.
TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - May 2034 Well, we managed to capture the title, the game against Stellenbosch which finished 4-3 in our favoured finally got that monkey off our back. We had a bit of a wobble mid month losing to Kaizer Chiefs and the Nedbank Cup Final to Bidvest Wits, and I was worried after that that we may bottle the whole thing but in the end we were fine at least in the least and got over the line. That is our objective complete in South Africa. I suspect that next year the fixtures won't load again but we will have the cups and African continental football to content ourselves with. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - July 2034 Well it looks like there will be no league season again this year, as was expected with the pattern that we had seen before of it occuring every two years. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - August 2034 I can confirm there will be no league season for this season again, but we did kick off in the MTN 8 where we lost in extra time to Kaizer Chiefs to exit at the first hurdle there. In the Champions League we drew APR of Rwanda and beat them handsomely over the two legs by 14-1 on aggregate, to advance to the 1st Round.

TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - May 2035 We came to the most important month of the season and we passed it with flying colours. We defeated ES Tunis to claim the Champions League, and then a few days later we played SuperSport United for the Nedbank Cup, the only trophy we had not won in South Africa up to now and came through 3-1. A very nice season for us all considered.

TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - September 2035 Our league season kicked off this month and we have done pretty well, picking up 3 wins and a draw to top the table at this early stage. We also had three league wins to boot to make it a very nice month for us. Bidvest Wits are breathing down our necks on 22 points, so we cannot afford a slip up at this stage. TerminalPortugal
Bloemfontein Celtic - December 2035 We had a very good month, as we won the Telekom Knockout against Ajax Cape Town and we have done pretty well in the league although it is very tight at the top of the league with SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits sniffing around us. In the Champions League, we have a perfect record from three games. We drew MA Tetouan of Morocco, a team we know very well in Petro de Luanda from Angola and Vipers SC from Uganda. Things are going well and I hope we can maintain it.
