TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - September 2022 Looks like normal service is resumed in the league as we record another three wins and some big results along the way. We now sit 2nd behind Benfica de Luanda, but have 3 games in hand over them. In the Champions League First Round we got through Nigeria's Enugu Rangers 8-2 on aggregate to book a place in Group Stages as we look to make it three Champions Leagues in a row. Our contract actually expires with the club around about March so unsure what happens when it expires, whether we can continue or whether are released. We also got through in the cup beating Progresso's B team.
TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - October 2022 Five more league games, five more wins and five more clean sheets. Very happy with that.
TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - November 2022 We are through in the cup after two wins, to set up a quarter final against Primeiro de Agosto having already defeated their B team in the competition. In the league we continue our winning ways with another 3 wins. We have opened up an 8 point gap to Primeiro de Maio in 2nd place.
TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - December 2022 Well we have dropped our first points in the league this season against Benfica de Lubango, but we are pretty much in cruise control in the league with wins in the other games. We are through to the semi finals after a Cup Quarter Final win against Primeiro de Agosto. In the Champions League we have drawn Vita of DR Congo, AC Leopards of the Republic of Congo and Djoliba of Mali. We played Djoliba and Leopards and have full points from our first two games and looking good for qualification from our group.
TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - January 2023 There is still a month to go but we are already champions of the Girabola, with out 16 point lead we can no longer be caught by Primeiro de Maio. We did lose our first game of the season this month away at Primeiro de Agosto, but in the end it did not matter for much. We also made it through the Angolan Cup Final this month with a win over Aviacao. In the Champions League we have 3 wins from 3 and continue to look good value to advance to the next phase. TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - February 2023 The season is over and we managed to get 83 points and got to the 100 goal difference again. We managed to win the Angolan Cup Final in what ended up being a pretty easy game against Benfica de Luanda with a 3-0 scoreline. We are through our group in the Champions League win a game left to play against Vita Club. Mathematically it is still possible that Vita with a 3-0 win at our ground, but if we manage to avoid that we will win the group. Another great season, our last at the helm of Petro de Luanda. Now it will be all about the Champions League, our contract does run out at the end of March, so it is possible we will be released or potentially we might go on until the Final if we reach there. TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - March 2023 The final group game of the Champions League is the only game in March, and it was a 3-0 win for us. We won our group with a perfect record. Edited August 18, 2020 by TerminalPortugal
TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - April 2023 We face USM Alger of Algeria in the Quarter Finals and we got a nice win over them away and then did the job on them at home to cruise through 4-1, and advance to the semi finals, where we would face by now a familiar foe in ES Tunis. We got a late winner at home to take a narrow win to Tunisia, and fortunately for us we got an early goal out there that settled the nerves. The game would finish 1-1 but Tunis would have needed another two goals to go through so we were pretty comfortable. With that we book ourselves a place in the final and it will be a repeat of last years final as Mamelodi Sundowns beat Al Ahly to book a place in the final which this year will take place in Soweto, South Africa at the FNB Stadium, so it will be home advantage for our opponents. TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - May 2023 There was one game left in our Petro de Luanda career and it was an opportunity to create history. No team in African football has ever won the Champions League three times in a row. Al Ahly have won a couple of times twice in a row, Enyimba did two in a row in the early 2000's Mazembe did it twice in 1968 and 1969 and again in 2009 and 2010, Tunis did it in 2018 and 2019. But no one had ever done three in a row. Well now have. It was a difficult game, we trailed in the game but got back level but could not find the winner, and it wnet to penalties. Mamelodi missed one of there and we were perfect and Khwela missed his and handed us the cup. A great way for us to bow out as manager of Petro, three time Champions League winners. TerminalPortugal
Petro de Luanda - End of Season 2022/23 We were not as good as we have been the last two seasons, we have lost key players and have replaced them but those players need time. In the goalscoring Yano has not skipped a beat and hit 45 goals this season. We are down in the assists front as Karanga got 24 this season, still an amazing amount but down from the previous feats of the last few seasons for the assist leader. Karanga created 0.67 assists per game this season and was also the top assist creator with 1.03 a game. New signing Zanempi Knosi and Ito were pretty much on the same dribbles per game at 2.68 and 2.69 respectively as the dribbles leader for our team. Gift Skiaonga was the interception leader with 3.58 per game. Julius Situmbeko has been working on his key passes and was the leader this year with just over 2 a game, and he was also the player with the most passes completed per game with 85.46 per 90 minutes with an accuracy of 96%. Yano had the most shots on target per game with 3.18. In terms of average rating the best player was still Job, who retires at the end of this season and despite being injured for three months at the start of the season he still saw plenty of game time. He scored a 7.86 rating this season down from the previous two, but still very very good. We now have our Continental A Licence and the board approved us to start work on the Pro Licence just before the Champions League final. TerminalPortugal
As we said we would do, we have completed the Angola leg of the challenge and have left the club. Our contract had run out anyway. We are going to see what the next job is. It will have to come in either Zambia, Namibia or DR Congo. I am thinking it may be wise to go south and pick up all the Southern African countries as they will be a nightmare later on to come back and finish. So Namibia and Zambia look enticing. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - Introduction to Club We were out of work for about a month before we got a job in Namibia, more specifically Premier League outfit Eleven Arrows, from Walvis Bay. I declared interest in joining the club a couple of times and eventually their manager I guess could not take the pressure and resigned his role. Last season the club finished in 9th place but were predicted at the start of the season to finish in 7th place. This is the squad, to early to say much about it. This seemingly is our best player, goalkeeper George Ketjijere.

TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - Pre-Season 2023 We struggled to get opponents for a pre-season, so had to face our Reserves and Under 21's and managed to lose one of those games and a draw to Blue Waters. We do not look very good going into this season. I have big gaps in the team that I was not able to resolve during the transfer window and we may have to suck it up until it reopens. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - November 2023 Only one game this month and it is the league opener against Ramblers. We managed to get a draw in our first game, not great but not bad either. I know the team has real issues especially in the attacking midfield spots, where we have square pegs in round holes. We will see how we do over the next few months before we can get back to the transfer market.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - December 2023 Well this month has been a very unexpected but lovely surprise. We have been brilliant. Despite the issues we have in attacking midfield, which we should be resolving in the winter window, we have been excellent and got 9 wins on the bounce to lead the league on 28 points. We are 6 points clear of African Stars. Civics are also lurking 2 games back and could close the gap to us. I think the issue we had in pre-season probably was more to do with the players learning the system and positions more than specifically our quality, although I do still need to delve into the transfer market and upgrade where I can. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - January 2024 Wow, this team is amazing me, I never expected us to do what we are doing right now. We have been brilliant, wins across the board and a win in the Namibian Newspaper Cup too, to send us to the Quarter Finals. Civics have a lot of games in hand so I am not getting carried away just yet, but we have given ourselves a magnificent chance of putting up a title challenge. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - February 2024 We have continued to blitz the league this month, with another 3 wins as we are starting to open up a chasm to the rest of the league. Civics have 3 games in hand but will be well behind if they manage to win them, we also booked our place in the semi final of the Namibian Newspaper Cup with a win over lower league Mighty Gunners. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - March 2024 Another unbeaten month keeps us on track for the title. We are still unbeaten this season, it would be amazing to accomplish an unbeaten season in our first season at the club.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - Youth Intake A lot of quality here but it is all relative to our side, which is not exactly amazing. So glad there is plenty of potential that can help the side but these guys will need to be evaluated over the season to see how they can contribute. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - April 2024 Well it is all over a month before the end of the season, reminiscent of many a season with Petro de Luanda, we are Namibian Champions, which means our stay in Namibia is going to be the minimum amount of 4 years by achieving our objectives in the 1st year. We also have a chance at the double with our win against African Stars in the semi final of the Namibian Newspaper Cup sending us to the final to play either the University of Namibia (UNAM) or Civics. We also with the league win qualify for the Champions League next season. Edited August 19, 2020 by TerminalPortugal
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - May 2024 Well in the end the season could not have gone any better. We captured the Namibian Newspaper Cup against Civics after a 2-0 win, to give us the double and then we went on and completed the unbeaten season, we drew just two games this season to give us an 86 point total, 19 points ahead of Civics in 2nd place. Not sure we will better this season, at Petro we had one unbeaten season while we were there, so that have achieved that already is amazing.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - End of Season 2023/24 So let's look at the stats, Jorry Munika was the top goalscorer on 17 goals this season and Daniel Hendrick was the top assist maker on 16 assists. Marco Andriaca had the most assists per 90, with 1 assist every two games. David Kanelelo had the most chances created per 90 with 1.14. Augustinus Hobexab had the most dribbles per 90, with 2.19, narrowly ahead of Daniel Hendrick on 2.17. Mogakolodi Ketjijere had the most intereception a game with 3.8. David Kanelelo had the most key passes a game with 1.59. Jorry Munika got the most shots on target a game with 2.17 on average and Marcel Papama saw the most of the ball with 61.89 passes a game at a 90% accuracy. Pro Licence is in the bag now, our studies are over.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - New Contract We sign a new one year deal at Eleven Arrows. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - August 2024 Our season starts early this year because of the initial stages of the Champions League. We drew a very hard opponent in TP Mazembe, and with a bit more luck we might have knocked them off. We got an amazing win away despite being pretty well dominated. In the second leg we dominated by lost. With the game tied at 3-3 after extra time, it was down to penalties and we could not hold our nerve. We drop into the CAF Confederation Cup 2nd Round, which hopefully we can do well in. A shame to leave the Champions League straight away, but in fairness we gave a much better opponent a great game. TerminalPortugal
1 minute ago, dllu said: Breezing through the nations so far. I imagine South Africa might be your first real challenge... You're probably right. Although a lot of it depends on the team that we get in each country. Petro de Luanda were pretty strong in the Angolan league and Eleven Arrows, I am probably overachieving and the standard is generally poor across the board, so easier to make it up. In South Africa, if we are at a lower rep side it will probably be a lot harder. Although my only task is to win 1 league title, so over the course of 4 years I should be okay. Last time when I started in Georgia, the hardest country by far I was in was Iran, really competitive league, so we will see with South Africa. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - 2024/25 Title Odds We are third favourites for the title this season, better than our 5th place prediction last season. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - November 2024 I misspoke when I said we would be dropping into the CAF Confederation Cup, we would have done had we lost in the 1st Round, but since we lost in the preliminary rounds we are out of African football already this season. So it is time to focus on Namibian football instead and we started off the season well, with two wins. We drew in our friendly, this Blue Water team manages to nullify us well despite being in the lower league, the other Premier League sides could learn a thing or two from them. We are equal on points with Civics. It could be a battle between us two this season for the title. I expect them to make it a lot closer this season. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - Job Offers We have received our first job offer of our career, from Academica Soyo back in Angola. Obviously that would be going the wrong way and we have not completed the four years in Namibia, but if a club from South Africa or Botswana headhunted us in the final year and we were able to agree to join after our final year, we would consider it. This job offer however we decline.

TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - December 2024 The good times continue to roll around Walvis Bay as we string together nothing but wins, including our opener in the Namibian Newspaper Cup. We already have a heft 8 point lead over Civics, although they cut this to 5 points with their game in hand.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - January 2025 A new year but no change in our form as we get through two league games and cup game against UNAM. We are starting to build a lead here, but Civics are close behind so we have very little room for screwing up.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - February 2025 We pretty much battered everyone we played this month, all in the league. It is looking like we are going to win a 2nd title in a row at this stage.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - March 2025 By our standards we had a pretty horrible month as we lost twice in the month to Civics. Once in the league and once to knock us out of the Namibian equivalent of League Cup in the form of the Top 8 Cup. We also drew to City Boys. So have the wheels come off, not really but we were worse this month. Injuries have played their part in our mini downfall but I think we will get through it. TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - Youth Intake Plenty of potential, but of no real use for me in the next couple of seasons I reckon.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - April 2025 Another loss this month, although we were down to 10 men for a long period against Black Africa that contributed to our loss. For the remainder of the month we did recover from our mini-wobble, and we beat Civics to reach the Namibian Newspaper Cup Final again where we will face one of African Stars or Citizens FC.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - May 2025 The worst kept secret in Namibian football that we were going to capture another Namibian title was finally mathematically confirmed early this month, as we won all our games to finish on 82 points, and 12 points ahead of Civics. The Cup Final has been moved to early June, so we will have to wait to find out whether we can make it another Namibian double.
TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - New Contract A few days before the cup final, the board decide they feel comfortable enough to offer me a new deal at the club. Again another 1 year deal.

TerminalPortugal
Eleven Arrows - August 2025 We were back in the Champions League and my goal was to at least get through the Preliminary Round as that would guarantee us, African football whether it be in the Champions League or Confederation Cup into the new season. We drew Nigerian side Lobi Stars and they were clear favourites to win the tie, but we were dogged and got an away goals victory over the two legs to proceed to the First Round. The draw has already been made and we will face stiff opposition in the form of Egyptian giant Al-Ahly, so our Champions League journey is likely to end, but very happy with the performances of the boys to get us through in the Prelims.
