What an amazing performance against the best team in the league. We went ahead through a Philip Billing header from a corner, his seventh of the season. Salah scored for Liverpool and we managed to hold on to get a draw against the league leaders.

Finished 13th. Should have done better but we had a terrible run at the end of the season. I am definitely going to play 3-1-4-2-1 at home next season and 4-4-2 away. Really happy with how this season went.

The board are pretty happy and I am still in a job.

Not a bad season really.

Well done with Bournemouth. A great season. You love to score goals but concede loads as well. Maybe your DOF can bring some decent players in the summer to sort these issues out.

Thanks mate. Yes I am hoping my change in tactics to 4-4-2 for away games will help me next season.

16th May 2020 - Season 2019/20 - Player Review

Eddie Howe: Bournemouth manager 'consumed' by relegation fight ...

Goalkeepers

Pu1aftV.png

Aaron Ramsdale played every game for me this season. Artur Boruc is now 40 and will most likely leave the club in the summer.

Defenders

rZcybM0.png

Simon Francis came into the side when we switched to 4-4-2. He actually did well in the matches he played. Steve Cook was a regular for us and was pretty solid. Chris Mepham started the season really well but his form dropped dramatically after January and was dropped. Jack Simpson is one for the future. Charlie Daniels isn't good enough. Lloyd Kelly offers us good competition at both CB and LB. Rick Van Drongelen did well when he featured us after he joined us in January. Nathan Ake was solid throughout the season and Diego Rico didn't play all season because we didn't play with LB's.

Midfielders

98BN732.png

Andrew Surman did well for us considering he is 34, he featured more than I thought he would have. Philip Billing was brilliant in the CDM role and my favourite player. Lewis Cook was OK, he just needs to add goals and assists to his game. Jefferson Lerma started the season well but was poor towards the end of the season. Dan Gosling did well on his return from injury. David Brooks did really well too after returning from injury- he will be a key player for me next season. Junior Stanislas was more of a back up player. Harry Wilson will be returning to Liverpool at the end of the season but he did alright for me. Angel Gomes wasn't good enough and will be returning to Manchester United. James Forrest impressed since his move from Celtic and did well in the games he played. Jordon Ibe was a back up and wants to leave. Arnuat Danjuma looks like an exciting prospect but not sure he is ready for first team football yet. Joshua King scored nine goals for us but his form did drop off near the end of the season, like much of the squad. Ryan Fraser was a star man for us and got us some important goals.

Strikers

XUncYgg.png

Dominic Solanke ended the season as my top goalscorer and he did well. Callum Wilson was really disappointing. He only managed 9 goals for me this season, for £100k a week I was expecting much, much more. Sam Surridge was a back up.

My DOF has made another signing. Super Mario will be joining us for next season. Really exciting signing and I hope we can get the best out of him. He scored 9 goals for Brescia last season.

Fantastic to see you are doing even better job you did with Brighton on previous save :D  You definitely need to sack your DOF  With signing players over age of 30?!  Good luck for next season :D
