Hi i want to replicate sarriball like napoli used to play. Even though i do not know a lot about the team but really would like to listen to what others think how they used to play and how it could be created in Fm20?

Napoli fan here, so naturally I tried to replicate this tactic also. It works well in the game, but ended up being more control possession and I found it difficult to score goals through quick combination play, so you may want to tweak things but here are some ideas.

4-3-3

Goalkeeper (Reina): sweeper keeper (s)

RB (Hysaj): FB (s)

CD (Albiol, Koulibaly): BPD (d)  

LB (Ghoulam): WB/FB (A)

 

CM/CDM (Jorginho): DLP (D) / Regista

CML(Hamsik): Mezzala (S)

CMR(Allan): BWM (S)

 

LAM (Insigne): AP (A)

RAM (Callejon): W(S) (also possibly Raumdeuter but few players can actually play it)

CF (Mertens): AF (A) (also possibly CF(A) - definitely not false 9 Mertens was in no way a false 9, he's just short) 

 

 

Mentality - Balanced

 

Instructions:

Play out of defense

Shorter passing 

Low crosses

Higher Tempo

Work Ball into box

Play Narrow

Focus Play down the left

Overlap Left

Take short kicks

Distribute to center backs

Counter Press

Defend Wider

Higher Defensive Line

More Urgent

Use Tighter Marking
